Has anyone really been seeing these are US retail yet? I know BBTS had them in stock, but I've never seen one on a shelf.

That's what I thought, until I found that they make everyone. Characters from the past that no one would ever think to make. I already have Mola Ram and Governor Tarkin. They are ultimately pointless, but isn't that what makes life more interesting?

I am so picking up that Soundwave!

Seriously? I could take a crap and stick a toothpick in it with a character's name, and some tool would buy it. You people make me sick.

Lol now how in the world a tool buy it? I certainly couldn't imagine a hammer walking in to a store and buy one of these. I don't think any tool would buy something like that.

ANYWAY They are an interesting take on the characters, though I doubt I will be getting them, they do have an interesting design style. Its such a departure from the traditional style like the Movie characters, and that makes it cool IMO.

One who lacks the mental capacity to know he is being used. A fool. A cretin. Characterized by low intelligence and/or self-steem.
ex: That tool doesn't even know she's just using him.

I think the word you are looking for is "trendy." :yuck

There's a substantial market for collectible vinyl toys, and MM's are likely the most successful commercial venture of said product ever... so while they're not for everyone, they've certainly been very well-received by the collector community and are doing just fine.

    Ebay:
As I understand it, when a shipping date is drastically changed, or if an assortment is changed, or if the product ends up having different product numbers on it when it ships than what were originally solicited, it will sometimes show up as "cancelled" in retailer systems, as that specific assortment is no longer available.

There's no proof to say that is or is not the case here, but just because EE says the assortment is cancelled isn't concrete proof of anything for the moment. Unless some other confirmation has popped up that I've missed, I wouldn't count them out just yet.
