This commission Soundwave started as the over sized knockoff Generation 1 figure and features the following upgrades and modifications:

    - Completely scratch built head based off of Frenzy_Rumble's original Soundwave design
    - Added arm articulation at shoulders to allow extreme amount of movement
    - Added articulation at elbows that features flexion/extension and rotation
    - Modified angular waist that telescopes for transformation giving Soundwave an additional 1/2" in height
    - New custom cast articulated hands that are on ball joints at the wrist
    - Completely rebuilt chest with ability to hold standard G1 cassettes
    - Knees and hips were modified to allow more poseability
    - Pivots added to feet to allow them to sit flush to a surface
    - Custom installed purple LEDs in the chest cavity as well as a red LED in the head that both operate independently with dual switches and single battery supply in the back of the figure.
    - Custom created and applied decals
    - 3D Embossed faction symbol on chest
    - The entire figure has been reinforced to add weight and stability

This is such a cool design, the leds look great, the sanded down shapeways hands turned out well. The only part of it that i'm even a tiny bit unsure if is the black bicepts,
but all in all love it, and completely pumped that it fits g1 cassettes.
Any of your commisions having you doing articulations to to the cassettes to go with the soundwave?

i dont know if its the pics or what but thet color used for the silver parts on him, is a great nod to the anime colors, and that head is gorgeous (kinda suprised as many of these you have been doing lately you havent cast that part)

all in all it would definalntly fit in a masterpiece collection very well

Good job! critique wise, if there was a way for a panel to pop down to cover the gap left by the feet itd be amazing, its still a great piece though, one I'd be proud to own

Looks great! Maybe for your next one you could add some waist articulation!

Believe me Mack, I did the blue biceps and it just looks to "blue" to me. The balck kind of breaks up the overall one color aspect.

    Give it a shot!

Thanks.... it is actually a custom mixed flat gunmetal.

    Thanks guys!

I wish, but there is such limited space as it is..... I may try something in the future.

    Thanks!

It will cost you one million dollars! LOL!

Hmmm..... may have that planned already. It will be difficult especially with the sliding aspect of the torso. The back "box" is actually stationary and provide the mechanism for the sliding joint.

    Thanks!

    Yes, heavily modified.

    Thanks!

You don't have to resort to that, commission me! LOL!
