    Ceck these bad boys out.... these are just a few examples of original sketches used for the production of the Transformers Marvel Comic Book Series.... They are incredibly detailed!!

    Some of these are autographed by the artists - Ian Akin & Brian Garvey
    They also have MARVEL COPYRIGHT STAMPS on the back.

    These are just a few from a collection I purchased from a collector friend I met over the internet. I had never seen anything like this before so I had to have them :)

    Maybe it's me, but the B&W drawings look even better than the finished product.

    I'd love it if we could get reprints of those in B&W. The colors muck up line work.

    I completely agree the sketches look so much better than the colors.

    Its quite interesting how these are produced. They are penciled first on these 11x16 pages then they are inked and shaded with India-ink (this is what you see here - the original)

    Afterwards this original is xeroxed/scanned and a copy is printed for coloring.
