    1. upload your picture to this site: ImageShack® - Online Media Hosting
    2. then copy the direct link to share and paste it to your PM
    3. then highlight the pasted link in your PM and click "icon insert image" on the message toolbar.

    Guys,

I've tried uploading images of my items and I have tried linking my ebay feeback score, but because of my total technological ineptitude, I am unable to do either.

I will send you pics through your email address.

    My apologies in advance.

I am pricing the items as through an auction. Make an offer and I will either counter-offer or accept your price.

    I am fair and reasonable.

I don't want to say something negative, but I'm a bit turned off by this seller. On Friday I was late to a meeting when I got an email from him where we came to an agreement on price. In fact, he told me what he wanted and immediately I responded saying that I was fine with the price but I had to run and I would pay today. Today I log online and he emails me that someone offered him a higher price and he took that. To me, that is very sleazy. We were in the middle of a transaction and he pulled away. In business, you don't do that!

I really understand this seller's frustration.

I do, however, mention in my original post that I am unable to reserve any items unless I receive a deposit or payment in full.

I do this for two reasons: One, because I am in need of the money; and two, because I had two transactions over the summer go sour because the prospective buyers and I agreed on a price and then the former asked me to reserve the items until they could pay with cash.

In the first soured transaction, after I agreed to reserve the item, three other persons came by with money in hand, hoping to buy the same item. I turned each of them down, informing them someone has already agreed to buy.

They offered me my full asking price.

    I turned them down again.

Twenty-four hours pass and I never heard from the buyer who gave me his word. Then forty-eight hours passed; then seventy-two.

I never heard from him again.

I lost money because I trusted this buyer's word.

I have no doubt Wajo is an upstanding member of this board. I am also willing to bet he's got great character.

Wajo, however, never placed a deposit for the items, telling me only he'd pay sometime after work the next day.

His correspondence with me yesterday confirmed he would have indeed bought the items. Still, there was no way I could have known that. I had, after all, heard it all before.

Between that time and our last email exchange--almost 24 hours in time--I received an email from another interested buyer who offered me a great price for the item, which placed me in a similar bind as I experienced this summer.

I could either tell this buyer the items were on hold for someone else, and take the risk of never hearing from Wajo; or I could take the money from this other buyer at that moment.

The other buyer said he'd wire the money at once. He did. And I took it.

Wajo, I wish things could have worked out for us; but please understand the risk I would have taken had you never responded.

I should have insisted you place a deposit for the figures, which is my fault.

I can guarantee everyone here you will be glad to have purchased from me. I will offer you great service and answer any questions about any of my figures until we finalize the transaction.

Do, though, understand I can only sell, as I highlighted in bold in my original post, on a first come, first serve basis.

I'm a transformers fan like the rest of you, like Wajo too; but in this situation I needed to make a business decision. And my decision was to take the guaranteed money without risking a loss of sale.

Thanks everyone for all your questions and offers! I'm so grateful for your willingness to purchase your next acquisition from me.

    Just a reminder:

Please check the status of my figures before sending me a PM, as I update the availability of my stock as soon as I sell a figure.

It may be that the figures you desire have sold to another buyer--especially considering the number of inquiries I have received for the same ones.
