    darn, i thought this was a post about the hot rod and victory leo kits (there was a third one but i don't remember what it was, too busy drooling over victory leo)

    Are these official from Takara or are they 3rd party?

    They are not by Takara but are licensed from them so they are official. Kabaya is the same company who made TF model kits back in the G1 days.

    Licensed by Takara, I got a set at Botcon. Been meaning to do a build on them but wanted to photo the runners first.

    They pretty much never stopped.

    They're model kits, and the quality may not be as good as a normal TF, but they're really neat given their size and price and they come with candy.

    That is true. After TF they went on to make Brave kits then when Beast Wars rolled round they made kits for those.

    They are neat, but they pale in comparison to Bandai's Minipla candy toy line that they do for their Sentai. These guys feel a whole lot cheaper. Unfortunately.
