If that is really Alpha Trion, 1)Why does Ironhide not know that name, and 2) If they are really in Metroplex like a lot of people thought after the end of #2, is that what he was protecting in the Spotlight issue?

Given Hasbro's so big on the details re: the 13 nowadays, it's likely IDW Alpha Trion lines up with Hasbro's vision of him as seen in Exodus. Which would make him a VERY VERY important individual to protect.

1, This probably has to do with the mystery of what is going on with Ironhide. And 2 Alpha Trion might be part of what Metroplex is protecting.

I'm not sure how I feel about this series so far... I mean, besides the fact that if this series were actually proceeding at a proper pace, this splash page reveal should be the last page of issue #1! Geez Costa... you might want to up the content ratio just a bit, eh?

BUT... I really LOVE the newcomer's indignant response to Ironhide's utter lack of recognition. HiLARious! Even better than Ironhide's equally clueless reply.

The title of the thread says "spoilers"... If you click it, anything that spoils you is your own damn fault...

So... going by what Hasbro said at Botcon... and Alpha Trion is one of the 13... Then this is the same guy that's been in the G1 Cartoon, Universe OATFUCK comic, Cybertron Club Comic, and Transtech/Shattered Glass comic? That's too crazy... I think Hasbro needs to rethink this... Maybe have the 13 instead be consistent in every universe.. the same group, not not necessarily the same exact individual...

Why in the hell they keep changing the designs? Are they trying desperately to shove all of it down Hasbro's throat to see if they can get another toy made? Is there an actual explanation within the story arcs or is it completely random?

 

i love trion introducing himself. like every single bot ever would know who he is. although, i do assume ironhide is supposed to know him if he's been awakened for a purpose
