Wow! Very nice! I spotted a TON of stuff that my brother and I had as kids. Even that Fisher Price offshore rig! And the MOTU stuff! Had most of what was pictured. I had no idea I was so spoiled as a child! I'll have to email this to my dad!

That's the heyday for toys. I remember toys stores in the U.s. being slightly different than that. Especially places like Toys R us and Childworld.

That's the smallest Transformers section I've ever seen. I remember stores having entires isles dedicated to TFs.

pics like that really make me consider time travel as a realistic venue for investigation but i always get stuck with 'how am i going to acquire valid currency, i might get jail for forgery' and other time travel logistics.

Yes, but even if you could travel back in time to purchase those figures, there would be no mainstream Internet to discuss them with the other fans on for many years.

Carry gold and jewels. Sell them at local goldsmith and jeweler's stores for current monetary units.

By 1986 standards, it does seem a little smaller. That and the fact that there are a few 1984 TFs there which Hasbro U.K. were not offering in 1986 makes me wonder if TFs just weren't that big a seller in that particular branch.

    Great Cybertron! I'm having flashbacks.

The next time Furman has Galvatron time travel, I'm hitching a ride.
