I am guessing many of you fans who are a bit more all knowing when it comes to TF stuff already know this, but I figured I would throw this out there anyways. In Spaceballs, when Yogurt is showing them the Spaceballs Merchandise, the Spaceballs coloring book was actually a TF comic with an obvious pic of Prime running on it. Also, the lunchbox was actually a TF lunchbox, one that I actually owned as a kid with a picture of Metroplex as a city. Both of these are small on the screen but they seem pretty obvious, and both just have the Spaceballs logo slapped on them.

I just thought I would point this out to others who didn't know.

Most likely blame the prop guys, they were probably tasked with looking for "sci-fi-ish" merchandise for the scene and found the TF lunch box, coloring book, etc

"Spaceballs the flame thrower!!!.... The kids love this one"

That was pretty funny. I think I remember the lunchbox thing. I really need to watch Spaceballs again, I haven't seen it in a really long time.

I actually saw Spaceball-1 as a parody of the SDF-1 from Robotech, not a Transformer.

Anyone know anything about the animated series of spaceballs coming to G4? I saw a commercial for it.

So I'm not the only one who noticed that, ey? Everytime I see that one I go "Hey, its a TF coloring book!" Everyone looks at me as if I'm nuts.

I remember first seeing this on tape, I recognised Optimus Primes Chest on the colouring book first. When I got the DVD is warrented a close up inspection and there were more TF stuff there than I first thought.

Actually "That's not a spaceship... it's a Transformer" is a direct quote from Lonestar in the movie. That line makes me laugh every time. :)

Oh, I know it is, but still, Spaceball-1 seems a lot more like the SDF-1.
