Maybe it's just the credits that are longer - after all there are a bunch of IMAX people that want to be credited now.

Does it really matter how many more minutes are in this version? Regardless on how much is ultimately added in the IMAX release, the footage will no doubt be no more interesting than what is already in the theatrical release - and will not include any bots whatsoever.
(if it were even 1 minute of bot screen time, to have it cut form the final theatrical release would be a significant waste of cash.)

In any case, if we get it here, I'll have to go see it for the 15th time..
And here I was waiting for the HD-DVD release to see it again.

Seeing it on a huge screen is really worth it and far more enjoyable! The last time I've seen it, it was in this HUGE theater with a giant screen, just a wee bit smaller than IMAX.. Unfortunately the film grain/noise was more recognizable.

My IMAX theatre says the run time is 150 minutes.

    So 6 more minutes?

I really dont care. If it was like 20 min that at least we know we are getting another scene or battle, but to plug the movie again for 2-5 more minutes is a joke. Plus the DVD right around the corner. I feel like everything they keep doing for the movie is just like all the bad repaints on the figures.

But of course I will still go see it.

This'll be my first IMAX movie. While I've seen TF 3 times already (incl @ BC), there really hasn't been a movie w/ enough eye-candy that I've wanted to bother w/ the drive (cost isn't an issue, it's only like .50 more than my local AMC evening showing).

As long as it's formatted for IMAX, I'll happy w/ whatever they add (and hopefully, won't be just IMAX credits LOL)

either way, i cant freaking wait to see the big bots on iMax. it's going to blow my mind. my brother saw Matrix Reloaded on iMax and said the only word to decribe it was "ridiculous". coming from him thats a good thing.

I hope they put a bit more character relations in with those couple of minutes. Like the part between Jazz and Megs before Jazz gets ripped apart that got cut late in the production process.

I doubt I'll see it in IMAX, if large sized screens was supposedly part of the problem for why the battles just looked like you were watching the hurricane network (just grey blurs/can't make anything out), then IMAX it would seem would only make that frustrating viewing experience worse.

IMAX will not make it "worse" when watching the fast moving scenes. That would only happen if you presented a normal movie on an IMAX screen (which some venues did opt to do). A proper IMAX release, like this one, is formatted specially for that screen to keep it looking as good as the original version did.

The closest Imax theaters to me are Chattanooga TN. or Richmond VA. I was looking at the Imax website & those 2 aren't listed. So I guess I'm S.O.L.

Would be nice if there was some extra bot stuff, no doubt it'll only be human interaction and credits...Can't wait to see it on that big screen though.

The film won't just play on the 21st, would it? I want to see it on the 22nd. Will it play just for one day, or will they have it running for a week or Two?
    Thanks.

Extra 2 minutes of film, 3 minutes of credits.... that would be my guess.

You forgot the first part of it, she's calling you "early climax".

In regards to the movie being longer, if it gets any longer I would need a bathroom break.
