My brother just showed me this video. The guy has 2 transformers chains. YouTube - Yung Berg - The Business featuring Casha not sure if it goes here, sorry if it doesn't belong
Rider, not Raider. Odds are, I don't much care about the video anyway. Just perturbed that YouTube's gone all racist on me.
Check out this old school vid. YouTube - PUBLIC ENEMY - FIGHT THE POWER 4seconds into the vid you'll see one guy waving a Decepticon flag.
This one has always been a favorite of mine: or if you prefer it with clips of Blaster and Tracks in a discotheque: Transformas, Bustas in Disguise!
Decepticons and Public Enemy?! Thats kickass right there. Yung Berg on the other hand is trash. A disgrace to Transformers...
If you're a hip hop head magic, you might be interested in this guy. He's an underground cat out in New York who used to go by One Man Army but changed it to One.Be.Lo (probably because of the band One Man Army). This is from the second verse from his song Rocketship: [One.Be.Lo] Yo, I'm flowin now to blow the microphone out I spit the flows out, rinse the Scope mouth, no doubt Tickets sold out, black and white kids, Diff'rent Strokes house +Transform+ you pessimists to optimists and roll out +Decepticons+ style, Megatron, bloaw Check the rhyme files, 007 stretch beyond bounds of the earth, moon, universe, soon to burst through Three sixty-five, prepare live, you April 1st, +Fool+ These wannabe best rappers hold the wet bladders Need a step ladder, still couldn't reach my best status Inspector Gadget, extra baggage, I was blessed to have it (skills) You must be still guessin at it, still testin average I'm never slippin even if you peeled a fresh banana The moves I make are +checks+ and balance like a chess fanatic You less advantage, manic depressin, impress the panic Lyrics hot enough to melt your plastic, burn your flesh to ashes (ouch) That's what you urn/earn when you not well rehearsed Somebody gotta help preserve this art form, myself preferred Check the verse, it's like a +Magic+ spell with words These wack emcees prolly felt it worse than a Celtic +Bird+
that Yung berg chain is ridiculous... some site even did a comedy spoof interview with his Autobot chain Video: Yung Berg's Transformer Chain Talks To Angela Yee About The Fight! [Comedy Spoof] It's not TF but for my money, the best 80s robot name check is Juelz Santana's second coming. "Together we stand, divided we fall, united we form Voltron and take on all" you might have seen it on a Nike commercial YouTube - Introducing Nike's Air Force 25
Similar to the One.be.lo thing above... Vast Aire (Can Ox) comes with "I'm like Optimus Prime/With a ninja face" at the start of "Elixir"; Big Daddy Kane refers to "transforming on stage like a Decepticon" in "Smooth Operator"... and i'm sure i've other rap records with Decepticon references on 'em... don't Black Sheep mention being "Decepticated" (like that's a word) on "Choice Is Yours"? And on the rock tip, the mighty Faith No More of course referenced TFs in "We Care A Lot". There must be others. On a real tangent, break hunters might also note that a cue from the TF cartoon soundtack (best example being the bit in the pilot episode, where Jazz goes up the elevator) is kinda funky and has made it's way onto a few mixtapes over the years
I don't really wish harm on anybody, but some people just need to get sense knocked into them. This kid is one of them. Glad Young Berger knocked out & his chain taken, lol
It was a bad idea bad mouthing the D in the first place. Guess he thought he was bigger than he was and tried to get brave by going out there. These dude's are having as much fun with that chain as anybody on this board would, lol YouTube - Trick Trick's Daughter w/ Yung Berg's Chain???
There's a group out of Seattle called Optimus Rhyme, who all have their secret rapper codenames based on TF characters too. They're pretty good, and carried the concept a lot longer than I thought they would'a. DMX has a few lines in "Get at me dog", like "transform and roll out", I'm pretty sure he's referenced Tf's a few times in other songs too. Rahzel references Tf's a lot too, and sneaks the transformation sound in some of his beatboxing. Hip Hop loves Transformers, I can't even count all the throwaway lines like "transform like megatron" etc I've heard over the years. Even "thugs" were kids once too
