Just saw the VH-1 special on Clerks II... One of the characters, Elias, played by Trevor Fehrman, is into Transformers, Jesus, and LOTR... And according to some clips shown, Elias has a scene devoted to just talking about Transformers...

    Just FYI... :p

I'm gonna go see it... I loved Clerks... :D

Hmm. This news moves this movie from "pass," into the "possible rental" category.

Is that the supernerd character they work with, the one Randall is beating up on in the trailer?

    Yay Randall.

I've noticed some Kevin Smith movies have been pretty hard to watch lately. Not sure why, they just seem too....dated.

    Agreed, with less passion.

Clerks is one of my fav movies, but is does remind me of the 90's (weird).

Chasing Amy is even more 90'ish. Made me feel old and slightly embarassed.

Having just escaped a 6 year sentence in retail employment, at video stores no less, I will always appreciate the original Clerks.

Smith's other movies? I out-grew htem when I graduated from middle school.

Clerks is still genius, though, and I'll be seeing Clerks II no matter what.

The Jersey Trilogy remains in tact as only those first 3, friend. Dogma began in the Midwest, and J&SBSB spent most of the movie way outside of Jersey. Heck even the non-canon "Jersey Girl" was shot in Philadelphia.
