I can almost guarantee it won't be new bot action. It'll likely be more human interaction that they cut because they realized the bots weren't getting enough screen-time. At least, not as much as they sould have.
New bot action is unknown but unlikely, you wouldn't normally leave the expensive footage on the floor. Then again at already 145 minutes long, it's possible a few snippets (second here, second there) did get cut when they ran out of human scenes to take out without losing coherence. I would expect a little more of Maggie though, it was her scenes that seemed to get the most cuts, even to the point of making her remaining scenes less coherent. Maybe a few frenzy ones as well since that one scene about "I can't concentrate with that killer robot..." in the trailer was gone too. Not sure, does the poster list a runtime? To see the exact amount added? Last I heard it was roughly 10 minutes of never seen footage. I do have a feeling that this run might end in mid oct though, any word on how limited, the limited run is?
hehehee... i think TF is still being shown on regular theaters. i think i passed by the movie house, and still saw the listing up.
It still is right now. And may remain so at least for the next 3 weeks, after that, no clue. The slower theaters at this rate, may have it all the way to the dvd release. i.e. Some mall theaters.
It is still playing in my area theaters, full price, not the dollar theaters. I want to go watch it right before the IMAX version hits to have it fresh in the mind for the extra footage. Since it hasn't yet hit the cheap theaters, I'm confident I'll be able to do that...Yes!!
I have a feeling they'll cut some human screentime to fit in the extra 10 minutes. From what I heard, Imax movies have a 2-hour runtime limit (because of the size of the filmcanisters, or something like that).
For Anyone in Charleston, SC its confirmed: Richard: Unless things change in the next two weeks we will be showing "Transformers" when it is released in IMAX. As of right now we do not have a schedule, but should have one by the end of next week (if not earlier). Regards, Tia Egnor Group Sales Charleston IMAX Theatre
