I could care less about the price guide, as it's probably out-of-date already.

BUT, the rest looks like it'll make good bathroom reading material.

I like the inventory-like pictures quite a bit. That's a fantastic way to keep track of missing pieces. The descriptions are great too.

I'd just say that if I were to see an MISB Wheeljack or Megatron for $275, I'd do backflips.

Very cool. Reminds me of the Cybertronian Field Guide.

That's what I was thinking too. I may have to pick this up, since I believe the field guide only went up to Series 4 (even thought the Recognition Guides did all of G1, G2, and BW).

I second this. It's what's most important to me. Maybe I'll hit the Big Game for $250,000,000.00 and want to become a completist? *complete psycho*

I don't care for 'price guides'. Stuff is worth what people will pay and this'll be out of date soon anyway (as has been stated).

What I do like is large format, colourful photo-guides that serve purely as a chance to revisit old friends I know I'll never be able to afford.
I love my Japanese GENERATIONS book, but the images are a little small. Dedicating a page to each character/toy is what wlll probably convince me to get this to use as a fun way to reflect.

I agree that this price guide isn't very useful. However, I would love to own it so I can keep my collection's inventory as accurate as possible. I also now know my "Marlboro" Wheeljack IS worth more than the other versions :)

The page layout, photo quality, and information here is amazing. This is exactly what I've wanted in a TF guide. Will definitely be picking it up now.

The Amazon (US) listing says 25th April. I pre-ordered mine from Amazon UK which has it down as the slightly more vague 'May'. Here's hopin'!
