I'm a big fan of irony in all its forms. :D

And it isn't over yet, if you don't mind me saying. :ev:

Speaking of Fast Action Battlers, it's been ages since I thought about those things! FABulous things, they were. Ha.

Never bought any of them, but I did kinda want that Starscream...

Run, Hot Shot, run! With some very awesome shots featuring the very cool Energon Megatron! Great toy. Great character. But poor Perky!

    Also wham zap btwaa zam!

He's one of those toys that can look awesome without any sort of pose at all. In my opinion, he outclasses every other toy in the comic, barring maybe Laser Rod Optimus (who is in a class all his own). I can't wait to get some more use outta him!

Speaking of use, I think he also outclasses all the other characters in the story in terms of fighting ability. I've tried to display this using his utter demolishing of Starscream, his victory over Optimus earlier in the comic, and his tossing Dinobot around like he's nothing. One must wonder how Hotshot will fair in open combat...

Or, now you'll wonder, now that i've said something. :D

By the way, Fez Findie, I didn't seen your tutorial before taking these pictures, so I haven't been able to try out the foreshortened effect. Soon though!

Thank you very much! I hope you enjoy this, the final part of Episode 3!

    Title: The Finish Line

    This isn't really an ending.

I've got a small epilogue to Episode 3 I want to post here, soonish, and then I can get started on the sequel to Transformers: Homeworld! It's gonna have top-notch effects, far-more-decent writing, and a cohesive plot with a beginning, middle, and end. It'll pick up the story following Homeworld, naturally enough, but it'll be written so that you won't have to have read this comic to follow the plot.

For specifics, it will start with that fateful battle on Cybertron where Optimus and Megatron fought for the last time. It'll pick up ten years later, with a quick recap to explain how Megatron ended up captured.

Cyclonus has the Heart of Cybertron, Megatron is plotting escape, and Ultra Magnus is dealing with leadership of the Autobots. On top of all this, Hotshot is being hunted by a mysterious team of Decepticon outcasts.

How does this all fit together? It's more cohesive than it looks. Honest.

The epilogue for this comic will deal with Percepter, Hoist, Dinobot, and Starscream. It'll get their story to a more satisfying conclusion.

I hope you enjoyed Transformers: Homeworld. Here's hoping the next comic will start strong and keep on trucking!

So, besides that, quick question: What would be the better title?

In order of how much I like them:

    Homeworld: Return
    Return, Restore, Resist
    Homeworld: Return, Restore, Resist
    Homeworld
    Transformers: Return
    Transformers: Return, Restore, Resist

Because I don't really know. They're all a little flaky, and by that I mean that I probably wouldn't click on them thinking, "Say, that's a clever title! It might have a clever comic inside!" I'd click on them thinking, "I hope this comic maker has a decent camera."

I will take any suggestions you have. I may not use them, but i'll take them! :D

This... is some really good way to wrap a lot of crap up :D  I did love how Cyclonus just simply told Galvy to shove it... by shoving a sword through him :D

    Is that Squirrel Girl? o_O

There really isn't a more effective way to shut somebody up. :D  You just have to speak the Decepticons' language!

Yup. I introduced her about two years ago, here.

She was gonna have a part in the final battle, but... this comic was getting too long. Things needed to be cut. So she gets two scenes.

She'll probably have a bit more to do in the sequel, depending on how much I want to use Earth.

    Glad you're entertained.

The best fights are the short, brutal ones. They have the potential to stick in your memory. They're also easier to make effects for.

Thanks! It's been a long, strange road, but each step was an improvement. I plan to make my next comic start out at this level. :D

Howdy! I hope you enjoy the final comic of Transformers: Homeworld!

... Dinobot lived up to his code once more. And helped to take care of Starscream as well. *sniff*

Such a nice, after-climax confrontation that few would ever know about fully. Making it quite bittersweet but at least some people are now much happier.

What a great ending for HOMEWORLD! I went back and reread through from Desklamp:Cyclonus part 5 until the end. And what a sweet-yet-foreboding twist in the epilogue! Did Dinobot completely extinguish his spark? That's hardcore!

I strongly sense a setup for Homeworld 2 in Screamer's resolution. Can't imagine he will stay in the icebox forever! Can't imagine his motive was altruistic, either. :)

Great story, Hobby, and here's to many more. *toasts with Faygo Redpop*

    Glad you enjoyed the show!

He lived a warrior and died a hero. And then died a hero again. And again. And again. And again.

And then he showed up in Homeworld and died some more. But boy was he a hero! :)

Thank you. Not many bots'll find out about it, no, but the people who matter will remember very clearly. That might be a good thing, and it might be a bad thing.

Thanks! Yeah, that's pretty much a for-sure spark extinguishing. I think the poor guy deserves a little rest by now.

Oh, he's gonna be a major player in the sequel. We'll get to see just how powerful those auto-repair systems of his are.

We'll also get to see who he's working for, what his endgame is, and all those other things that I didn't get around to revealing in this story. I may have made this too big.

    *Lifts Walmart-brand ginger ale*

    Here's to many more indeed!
