That's like one scalped concept Bumblebee!
    WOW!

Good job to the fans and creators! I hope it means there is a long and healthy franchise here to grow and support.

Hopefully they can invest some of the sequel money into a better script. I loved the movie, but that doesn't mean that they should go slack on the next one just because people are enamored with the big f'in robots.

I hope it gets past the $700 million mark. That would be great.

they actually had a good team on the script, couple'a dudes with established track records, so i wouldnt throw extra money around with the pretention of getting a better script. its a bit more complicated than that.

1/3 way when most of the hype has died down might be hard, but if you combine the merchandising then it might

Right. Now all we need are villains that can last longer than 5 minutes.

I hope people are aware that's not all profit...

For a movie to break even it has to take three times its production cost at the box office, so realistically the movie's made about $210 million profit so far.

Which is still great and can still fund a massive sequel but I just thought it should be flagged up...

if your logic is correct, then Batman Begins made a loss. If it made a loss, then why is a sequel being planned? Something is awfully wrong somewhere.

How so? Hire better writers. It's not that difficult. Plenty of talented writers are out there waiting for an opportunity and should get a shot. Some of their Alias work was a big fat dud, and some of it wasn't, so they're not the best that can be had.

Not just that, but now that we know about the existence of Transformers, how about a whole movie full of them, not the uber-touchy-feely chick with juvey record.

You know, the continued success of this movie must be sticking in the craw of SO many of its detractors. That warms the cockles of my heart more then should be legal.

I'd settle for having more than 5 minutes of character time for ANY of the Transformers.
