Topspin is love. And exactly what a $15-20 deluxe should be.

Triggerhappy pays homage to the original, while being updated ever so slightly into the new aesthetic without being slavishly G1. Topspin does this too, but I feel Triggerhappy is just a notch above. Knowing that Takara will also be doing this figure WITH his Targetmaster, and a faint hope that Hasbro might do something with the Targetmaster molds, eases him into the lead.

Topspin is so beefy and awesome. Everything about him is juuuust a little better than Triggerhappy.

But wasn't Triggerhappy last year? I had him on my best TF figures of 2016 list.

Anyway, even though I don't have mine yet, I'm giving my vote for Trypticon. That's the one figure I'm looking forward to the most for the remainder of the year.

The only ones I have are Prime and Triggerhappy :( , but the fact that Topspin's votes rival Triggerhappy's make me now consider the Wrecker brothers. I can't motherf&#%ing believe that Tiny Turbo Changers Crosshairs didn't make it in.

He was late last year, but only really began to get traction this year.

Good to hear. I've went light on TR (unfortunately), so I didn't get him before, but now the praise is getting to me. I'm sure that Nitro, and my recently ordered Voyager Megs/Hound will keep me satisfied till I can get both brothers at around the same time at an acceptable price.

Triggerhappy's good, but as others have said I believe he came out last year, thus disqualifying him (same with Sixshot, unless I'm mistaken?).

I think TLK Optimus Prime is quite the feat of engineering, and I love how he looks...but as a toy itself I'll have to give it to TR Topspin.

I'm happy that blue TR Jets are both in the lead. Good job fandom.

I'm shocked Sixshot isn't getting more love. Here's a legitimate update of a popular G1 figure that none of us thought would happen. With an added layer of Headmaster that doesn't affect his transformation if you'd rather not mess with it to boot.

    Genuinely blown away by this.
