Just saw an ebay auction for this book and it has a buy it now price of $200 US. Is this book that rare? because if it's this rare I just might consider selling my copy.
If this is true, I may just scan the hell out of my copy and sell it too! It is really a great art book though. I was bummed to hear the company that produced it went tits up, I was looking forward to the second one.

What good is the auction, that I found, without a picture. Selling a picture book with no examples or proof of condition.
Last I checked, about the start of the year, they weren't going for nearly that much. Occasionally someone will buy one on ebay for $75, but they usually go unsold even at that price. I'd estimate it's maybe worth $50-60. Just because someone lists something for $200, doesn't mean a buyer is willing to pay it.
This reminds me of the 3'x5' lithograph that's been listed at $200. Finally got slashed down to $100, but that's still insane for a poster. Granted it's a really freaking cool poster, but I'm not paying anywhere near that much for it.
Yeah, I built him in scale with the Alternators line. On topic: Those of you who are still waiting for these: Have you heard from Sebastion Clavet regarding the status? Last I had heard 88mph studio had completely closed up shop. I felt very lucky just to get my copy, because there was rumor they weren't even going to be able to get them out. Just wondering if there are still signs of life for a second book. Likely not.
