So, I know, I know, I'm late to the party w/ this book; but damn if I didn't get the bug in me the other day to check out the images of the unused Dinobot concepts. That got me thinking about how great it would be if I actually had the book so that I could check them out whenever.

Of course, the book is now harder to find than the plot in Energon. Anyone know of the best method of obtaining this bit of Transfan goodness?

Ok I can't help what so ever cuz I didn't even know there were redesigns for the dinobots.

I just had to tell you that that Energon line was some funny sh!t.

    Thanx

I got mine from a guy on the board here, but I've seen it on ebay a couple times. More commonly on yahoo Japan too. Try the Junkion section, maybe someone's willing to sell.

Action-HQ still had it in stock fairly recently, but I just checked and it's out of stock there now. ebay or Yahoo Japan are probably your best bets, although they aren't always available and you'll have to keep checking back. Try posting a wanted ad in Junkion Exchange here too.

Good luck. It cost about $50 after shipping to get in the US when it was new. I can only imagine it'll cost more than that now.

Amazon Japan is not actually that hard to use. I've ordered from it before. Somewhere on the page there is an option to read the buttons and instructions in English, and it's fairly straightfoward from that point on.

Cool to see that they still have it.

Personally, I've never even bought anything from AmazonUS. I'm just paranoid about putting my debit card info online.

But for those looking for a nice time-saver when it coems to buying Japanese stuff off Amazon or wherever, this guy's done half the work for you:

Even ha some instructions on using Amazon Japan.

I believe, w/ regular shipping, it was 4,300 yen (if memory serves). That's about $37-40, accounting for the flucating exchange rate.

    Damn good price, eh?!
