That trailer was theirs? I must of confused it with that other one that was released around the same time. Perhaps the low sales had to do with the low supply of Classics/G1 Prime? Or the fact that we had several choices for trailers? Or some third thing cause I honestly don't remember it.

I would love one nonetheless, now that I think about it maybe one of the other trailers would fit him. From the pictures it looks like one can hook up to him. While I normally don't buy Autobots, I might get him till a black repaint surfaces. No doubt TakaraTomy make one first.

 

Yeah, the G3 was FansProject. The other one was the BTS Trailer, the funky hybrid-looking thing.


I think the major hit against G3 is that it just seemed like a frivolity. More people were willing to rationalize not buying it because it wasn't an integral part of the character. Ultra Magnus needed his armour to capture his most well-known look, and people were desperately clamouring for more traditional combiners. Optimus Prime's trailer, while fairly iconic to his vehicle mode look, was still just a box that vanished at a moment's notice in the cartoon.

 

Pass. Not interested.

So purty.....cept for the blue cab sections*will have some black paint waiting to fix that* and maybe those side windows, i'll decide if they need fixing when i buy him though heh.

 

Not as good as G2 Laser Prime, IMO, but I'll definitely be adding it to the Prime collection!

Had no intention on getting this figure. But after seeing these pics I think my mind is changed. Awesome looking figure.

 

A truly impressive Deluxe. I've been on the fence about this figure since I don't really need another Classicsverse Prime, but perhaps my Generation 2: Redux shelf needs a Prime........

I agree that it's freakin' awesome, though. FansProject really just went nuts with that one, to make it as good as it could possibly be.


My favourite part about this toy is that he's got hinges in his wrists, alongside the balljoints, so that he can actually point his sword.
