Bought on first site.

 

As awesome and nice as this figure is, I truly can't help but wonder long term how loose and floppy he's gonna be. my only real gripe honestly, is the fact he doesn't have his signature Ion Blaster

Probably going to wait for the Scourge version for this one, there's just too many colours involved in the Prime paint scheme.

 

Are those 3mm clip system ports I see on his arms?

 

If anybody's wondering why his grill is unpainted transparent orange plastic - it's part of his light piping gimmick. His shoulders, torso, head and biceps have clear orange plastic cutting through the normal plastic for, I imagine, a "glowing" effect (since they can't fit LED lights in there).

 

The headsculpt is a little weird and the paint apps is really lacking. They should really do a RID Scourge repaint.

 

Thanks for the Pictures. I will be buying and adding this one to my collection. The only downside that I can see other then some of the colours is, he should have come with his trailer and rifle. Then they could have sold him in a voyager packaging, even though he is a deluxe.

An absolutely gorgeous mold with completely horrendous color choices. Vehicle mode looks like someone went through a truck junkyard and picked out pieces from various trucks trying to build a single body and didn't bother to repaint it.

 

The paint job has a lot to be desired -but the mold and look are not that bad -at least the tires and rimes are on the money

I just had a weird idea that maybe this was what RID Scourge may have looked like before arriving on Earth...

Give me the Black Convoy repaint already!

 

love the fig, but just like some figures and repaints in the past, the repaint will probably look more badass than the original

 

I'm not buying this. The prototype colors looked closer to the original Gen.2 toy IMO, and I'd rather spend my money on the inevitable RID Scourge repaint instead.

 

Can someone please explain this instead of just saying it? The head has none of the distinctive features of Movie Prime at all. It's a Classics/G1 Prime head with a slightly "pointier" appearance and blue pointy cheek guards which are, as far as I am aware, a flourish unique to this particular Prime toy.

 

Now give it a good paint job and we are set. I so hope he gets something more appealing. Otherwise I save some money  
I actually like the mold now, especially his head looks awesome. But the paintjob kills it for me.

The head is proportioned very different from other primes...(Other than the movie) It has the asthetics of the movie in that its more slender and pointy. So I see where one can get that from this. I like prime heads that are a little more stocky. That said, I will be getting this figure, it needs better colors as the sculpt is actually pretty nice...

 

Damn, those last two pics are the reason why everyone should own this toy.

 

but... if this is G2 prime, G2 prime's head IS like that, cept even more angular.
