    DAAAAAAAMMMMNNN!!
Lots of cool production stuff. Funny thing is I swear I saw that Breakdown model cel at Botcon years ago, maybe '99. If I can scrounge up the funds I want that Breakdown badly to add to my model collection, but any of the drawings would do.

I'll defs be watching this. How exactly does this work? Do you have to be registered and just bid online, like Ebay?

I had to sift through the fine print at the beginning of their catalog, but yes, it says internet bidders have to register at least a day in advance of the auction. Looks like they do have "absentee bidding" which seems similar to eBay's "maximum bid" where you can enter your highest bid ahead of time. However, the catalog does specify that internet bidders are charged a 28% "buyer's premium" and that anyone paying via card should pre-arrange a credit check.

It says they were all from the collection of writer-producer Paul Davids, which implies (to me anyway) that these are owned from when he originally worked on the show. However, this one has been signed by Flint Dille with wording that sounds like it was being written for a fan at a convention meeting.

(I'm not saying anything dodgy is going on, just that reality is slightly different than that which is implied)

I noticed that too. My guess is it's just confusing wording or catalog arrangement on their part, making it seem like every single TF item is from Mr. Davids when likely not all of them are. Like I said, I know I've seen that Breakdown cel somewhere before, at a time when it's very unlikely it was stored away in Mr. Davids' personal collection.

I'm going to make a play for the two sets of storyboards. If I wind up winning, I'm going to scan them in and post them online. If anyone wants to coordinate with me on that effort, please drop me a line.

I've been looking for an original of that Transformers TV series poster for the longest time. It's a shame this one has the folds in it.

Guess I have to keep looking :(

I'd love to see the grimlock's new brain storyboards in particular - they look like they might be by one of the the tftm storyboard artists who I particularly like.

Auction is today, and I hope anyone here who wins something will post pics.
Unfortunately something came up for me that will prevent me from bidding on anything (feeding the family comes first). I REALLY wanted that Breakdown. If anyone has any model cels like that they want to sell, let me know... :)

I was going to bid until I saw the 28% buyer premium.
