To anyone who bids on this....

    BE CAREFUL.

This is the exact same setup that I saw with the MISB Swoop that I got screwed on. The seller also is from Chile with little feed back. All their feed back is from sellers and none from buyers. Also, the account is VERY new. I bet this guy will not even be a registered ebay user in a month. Even the auction is private so I cannot warn the bidders.

if you bid and win, pay with credit cards if you can. he accepts paypal, stay away from sending money orders, especially overseas.

sorry you got the short end

    but i recommend to all

never to pay with mo on ebay regaurdless of feedback,

with money order there is never any chance of funds recovery.......

"Even the auction is private so I cannot warn the bidders."

this can be considered harasment by ebay and i recomend against it

can even get you banned from ebay.

looks legit and has paypal ,

paypal is the best way to go and pay with credit card

    my 2 cents

I had started another tread on my deal about week ago, but here is the auction:

Paypal is great, but even PayPal can be compromised. The main reason I started this thread is because this looks just like what I went through. Main difference, is Paypal. Only time will tell.

well, i wouldnt say paypal is great, but it seems like the only player in town when paying for something on ebay. i havent tried bid pay or anything else because I dont trust it. paypal is great for a buyer till you get screwed over, paypal is great for a seller till someone claims they didnt get something(which they did)or something wasnt right(which it was) and paypal takes funds out of your account.

    Did anyone see this:

"On Apr-06-07 at 10:39:04 PDT, seller added the following information:

I ACCEPT "BUY IT NOW" OFFERS
    "

That way if it is a scam he can sell it multiple times on the side.

I also don't like the "User ID kept private" part either. I am not saying it is a scam because of it, but I have seen a disproportionate number of "User ID kept private" auctions that were scams.

hence why IMO when dealing on ebay i recommend
    due to paypal
    insurance and tracking are required
out of country ems or express garuenty only
to cover chragebacks/damaged or not as described issues or lost packages
as a buyer yes it is a hassle but if payapl can not retrive any funds you credit card company will do fraud credit

Buy it now price $600 included shipping via registered expedite, 7-14 days, shipping registered normal $38 take 20 days. Let me know.

    Look at it now.

The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale.

I pray this works out for someone if they pay for it.

If it is a scam, he probably offered it to multiple people and he won't even get negative feedback. I don't think ebay could do anything at this point since the transaction was done outside ebay, except maybe a warning for posting in the auction description about the so called "buy it now".

Like I said, "I bet this guy will not even be a registered ebay user in a month. " Check him out now. And he sold someone a $1500 watch. WTF is up with Chile.

Yeah, agreed. Nothing against anybody from Chile, but there's been a lot of scams from there laterly.
