I like transformers and I like to give my friends Transformers for birthday presents and stuff. I don't know a lot of Transformers fans and none of them are girls I'm sure there girl Transformer fans, but never met any. I bought 2 Optimus Prime Voice Changer Helments for 2 friends that are well girls, would think that might be to much, like a girl giving me an Arcee Voice Changer Helmet or what?

what? You know if they don't like Tfs don't buy them gifts that are TFs, on the other hand if they like TFs it doesn't matter if the TF you give them is a boy or girl TF.

lol dude if you want to expose a girl who knows nothing about TFs.. a voice changer helmet is probably a bit overboard, should get them something novel like a slumple bee or a pack of robot heroes something that introduces them gradually.

Agreed, the way you do it sounds like assimalation Soundwave 34. Try a more gradual aproach.

Do you have to get them TF stuff? If they don't like Transformers, then get them something else. If they like Transformers, try something like Robot heroes.

My wife couldn't care less about transformers. She does love the robot heroes though. She finds them "adorable".

My 4 year old daughter on the other hand. Loves anything I will let her touch. She knows all the movie characters and almost all the G1 ones too.

It all depends on their level of interest.

If they don't know about TF, then a trip to the movie might help to introduce it to them, see where it goes from there. The voice-changing helmet might be a little sudden for non-fans (heck, I'd be weirded out if someone gave me that, and I'm a fan), so yeah, go with Robot Heroes or something cutish instead, like Split Lip said.

    OH, god...

On topic, I wouldn't give them Transformers stuff unless you're sure they like them. Show them a few transformers, then if they say something positive about them, then it's okay.

Just get them something they'll really like. Either go out shopping as a group of friends sometime and see what they're looking at, or try finding out from a friend.

The best gifts are the things someone really wants.

If you know they're into Transformers, try finding out just which character, generation etc they really like but don't have yet.

Unless you know that the girls you're buying have an established interest in Transformer's, you're more than likely better off getting them something they'd appreciate a bit more. The last thing I think that you want to do is turn them off especially if your trying to hook with one of them. If your willing to spend that kind of money, why not a giftcard to a store y'all hang out at often?

:D  Yes, rare that we are. But we do exist. God lord I'd die of happy if a dude-friend got me a movie-Bumblebee figure I don't own yet.

Find out what these girls like, if they're into the TFs. The helmet may be a bit overboard. Unless they're little kids and you plan on annoying the hell out of their parents.. >8)~...
But if they're not into the TFs.. that would be the equivalent if when family members buy me girly things.. like that years subscription to that one chick magazine *rubs head*. So just find out what they like. Follow them around at the mall and see what they look at. Ect. Ask questions about what they're into.
