As long as they fix the hosting issues and server problems of the last game I'm stoked! I got so sick of making it to wave 49 then the host leaves or gets kicked....and the match is over.

True, but they aren't always online, I agree that when you play with people you know it usually goes smoother. But they can't play every single time you do, so I was pretty much staying away from that mode unless they are on, which ruins the game type. And truth be told it's not just for escalation that they need to fit host migration, the competitive multiplayer needed it too.

 

We need a level in multiplayer or Escalation that is a Metroplex colossus climb as the big guy treks across a devastated city.

And everyone is making a made scramble for the top (his shoulders) were the actual battlefield is, and when there because Metroplex is moving the "landscape" moves and shifts underneath you.

Bruticus? Stepped on by Metroplex or Tackled by Omega or taken down by dinobots. Trypticon? Stepped on by Metroplex or Tackled by Omega or taken down by dinobots. Insecticons? See reasons above. Dark Energon? Yeah, Thats the advantage the cons have over the bots but will take a shit load of the shit to take down all of the autobots, dinobots, metroplex, and omega.

 

And dont forget the decepticons have a lot more energon then the autobots and they also have megatron making them suicide to kill enemys *ship to omega's face!*and also what if they get inside metroplex and plant a dark energon bomb and what if omega isnt fully healed yet?

Guys, for the uninitiated such as myself...what's this Escalation you guys are raving about?

 

Then they are still at odds. Autobots still have the milenia of knowledge stored within the matrix including whatever confiscated itmes they have in their vaults. And also this isnt g1 where cons can just walk inside a giant robot. You forget these bots have their own defense systems. Even without Omega the autobots can still hold their own.

And most of these battles will not even be head on on a battlefield. A lot of these will be infiltration and black ops styled operations in search of resouces. Plus Optimus is smart enough to keep his big guns until they really needed and megatron is insane enough to throw everything at the bots while they still can.

 

Is metroplex planned as a toy release?

 

escalation is a horde mode from WFC, think gears of war or call of duty.

 

Escalation is when you fight wave after wave of enemy with increasing difficulty.
