    Well that makes since. I am amazed he surrvived that.

    So does this mean we could have both WFC and FOC versions of Megatron and Optimus?

    I think so ! Just like we had both versions in the TF DOTM game. And one of the achievements in FOC is "The return of Megatron", so that's probably where we're gonna see his new form, courtesy of Shockwave or Soundwave

    Soundwave is the eyes and ears of the Decepticons. I don't see him building Megatron anything, save for cubes to house Energon. I wish the Constructicons were in the game as they could have been the ones to rebuild Megatron like G1 in stead of Shockwave (not G1).

    I think it's just trailer footage, it doesn't mean he's getting smashed in the actual story of the game. I wouldn't read too much into it.

    Great trailer. Hope that Prime's level before Metroplex Heeds the Call is as awesome as Metroplex Heeds the Call.

    WOW! That was pretty awesome. And now we know what happened to Megatron's old body. I wonder if there is anything in this game that's actually going to be a surprise? For the third game, I might avoid all info. Interviews, gameplay footage, trailers and anything else. And start as soon as it's announced.

    It definitely looked like Plex was aiming towards Megs.. besides it would be a good reason for Megatron's reconstruction.

    No, just Megatron. Optimus looks like that from the start.
    Although on the Home Page image on the site, he has his WFC chest, but the rest is the same as here.

    This was clearly taken from cutscenes, unlike the other trailers, which were pre-fabricated CGI. Cutscenes play a role in the story.:p

    It kind of shows how much of a bad ass Megatron is, after having being pelted by Metroplex, he still "functions".
