Regarding this book, do we know when we are getting a paperback version? Maybe I am weird, but I hate reading hardcovers, so any word on a paperback release?

I would really like to read this one before I get spoiled completely...

I'm with you on this one. I have been holding off on specifically because it's a hardcover, despite ample opportunities to buy the book. I just seem to always destroy the binding on hardcovers. Also I'm very lazy and do most of my reading while laying down, and holding up a hardcover is hard work. LOL. So yes, we need a paperback version now.

I HATE paperback! They always fall apart on me. Well graphic novels anyway. lol I do really want to read this book, but my parents say it's too expensive so I kinda do want a paperback to come out. Does anybody know if the book is actually in stores?

I have it in paperback. Living in the UK, I ordered my copy from Waterstone's.

In the UK, where it's published by Titan Books, they skipped the hardback releaser and went straight into paperback. The market for hardback tie-in novels is quite limited here -- Star Wars ones do okay, but not magnificently. Check Amazon.co.uk and see if you can get one shipped to you. Failing that, I work in a bookshop and can probably grab a copy for cost and shipping.

I think it was brilliant, I chose to rent not buy the game because of it.

In the US, a publisher will typically release the paperback about 8-12 months after the hardcover. Not set in stone, but that's the typical time frame.

Paperback spines are more easily ruined than a hardback binding. What the hell are you doing to a hardback that you break it?!? :)

I'm currently reading and enjoying it. Love all the nods to War Within and Megatron:Origin.
