I'll buy that. I didn't even know there were novels until ROTF came out. I've been snatching 'em up when I can find them.

It's not by Alan Dean Foster, so there's hope for it yet.

Here's hoping it's good. I've regretted every TF book I've bought except for the "Legends" short stories collection. And those were paper back! If I pay HC price and it's as bad as the Hardwired trilogy or the movie books, I'll be sad.

    Thoughts:

    1) Cool. Always nice to see TFs get another shot at succeeding as a novel. Hope to Primus it's better than the ones we've gotten in the past. Have to check what this guy has written.

    2) Wonder if its G1 or Movie based? The former would be more interesting to me if it is done well, but the later seems more likely, in which case it's gonna have to work a bit to capture my interest.

    3) Given the vaguely biblical subtitle I wonder if this could tie-in to Hasbro's Q&A hints about telling the story of the 13 soon?

Interesting, very interesting. I will have to invest in this. I've only ever read the movie tie-ins so this will be something new.

I wish this wasn't so, because I do so love a good book.

I'm more hopefully for what this could represent rather then the actual book itself. Being a hardcover book this could be Del Rey's first step towards a larger expanded universe. For the time being, I am not counting the paperback movie tie-in novels as I don't think they stand on their own.

If I had to guess I would say this book is based on the movie-verse but takes place in the distant past regarding the TF's "Exodus" from Cybertron.

Interesting, it's probably Movie based being so close to the release of the 3rd but I'm hoping G1.
