Not sure if this would be considered news or not, but there's video of a new version of Transformers EVO. It's a live performance by JAM Project, backed up by a symphony. Except for the intro, the song has a significantly different sound. It's very nice.

man this is so bad ass! lol
if theres one thing i do envy from japan there bad ass anime and there bad ass anime theme songs. US cartoons are so sub par when it comes to this stuff.

Jam Project actually has a whole bunch of Transfomers songs which im suprised there actually pretty good lol.
    check out youtube for em.

It's a shame I can't find their music on youtube. Though I know one member sings songs for Dragon Ball games.

That's sweet! Gotta love live performances of awesome soundtrack music.
Still can't get enough of Yoko Kanno's live Cowboy Bebop stuff either!

That is so many shades of awesomeness. I'm a sucker for live performances with backing band or orchestra.

    Very cool. Thanks for sharing!

Brilliant, seen a couple of live versions on youtube before where they were singing to prerecorded music but not a fully orchestral version. brilliant, simply brilliant.

I don't care about a Prime soundtrack, i'd take animated over that anyday!

Awesome! Love this theme song. I remember being at BotCon last year, sitting at a table near the bar and the topic turned to the Japanese TFA intro and one guy mentioned he hadn't seen it yet. The other 3 of us looked a him in synchronous shock. And he's like "That good huh?" Protoman then insisted the guy had to see it right then and there and we looked for someone's computer to borrow and found one, but couldn't get the vid to load at that time.

Some of my earliest experiences with anime is the concert footage and music video VHS'
s of Hurricane Live 2032 and 2033 with the Knight Sabers and Vision for Bubblegum Crisis so I always enjoy stuff like this. Can anyone provide a link to buy or downoad the JAM Project CD or single for this song preferably in English. I don't know how to navigate a Japanese language shopping site.

Nope - "CALL YOU" was done by Shinji Kakijima and "IGNITION!" was done by CHINO.

As for the actual posted song, that's neat. :)  Less hot-blooded than normal, but still cool. Wonder if there's more orchestral versions to root up...
