I will gladly take the extra .5%!! Nothing is worse then landing a perfect orbital strike only to see that there's a mortar still standing w/a sliver of health!

And apparently only Grimlock's 5 star is A team material. Wish I had known this prior to chasing him, although I WAS able to unlock 4-volc pulling him. Superion's in the lab for the week so Volc has been filling in nicely.

Oh okay, well even a gold health core works on him. He pairs amazingly well with Tracks since he can cluster all your bots together. With enough practice, it's not hard to consistently fit them all under Track's smoke cloud. It's worked wonders in wars so far.

I'd like the G1 core in this order Megatron/Mix/Shockwave, don't want Soundwaves only because I don't have it.
My auto side I'd like the same order, but I have Blaster. Wheeljack wouldn't hurt since he's my only 5*, and it's kind of cool if it adds attack speed which his SA already does that.

I'd really like to get cores for Soundwave, Mixmaster and Shockwave form this part and Galvatron and Skywarp from the second batch. But with my luck my gold cores would most likely be Megatron and Reflector.

I want a gold G1 Jazz core for this guy. WJ would be my second choice though.

If the Galvatron core info is correct, I need to power level my 4* AND move my attack cores to other 'Cons.

I MIGHT use Nightbird again if I had that core (Nightbird is Arcee's equivalent).

These G1 cores really do look pretty cool and will add a new element to the game.

Are they just the existing models re-skinned with a cel-shaded look, or are they the actual G1 models?

Looks like the silver G1 Wheeljack core has a 8.5% increase in healing at level 10. I think that's exactly the same as the Ray Booster core.

It also gives an attack speed boost to the person getting healed though

yeah... 10%, so nothing really special there. I was hoping the healing boost of the G1 core would be a slight step up from the Ray Booster.

It's not the "proper" G1 model, only a cell shaded look.

If its the same as the ray booster with additional speed, I suppose its worth swapping out.

That makes sense, since Viper is basically a recolored version of Powerglide.

I'm uncertain about the merits of these new G1 cores, from my perspective, it seems we'll have to trade off a standard bonus for a gimmick bonus.
For example, my Optimus will have to give up his Vitality core to get a Damage Reduction core when below 50% health.
Does anyone know how these G1 Cores will be obtained outside of events?
I would not be surprised if I see G1 Core bundles appear for sale in the near future.

Personally, I would have preferred a G1 skin like this:
    OptimusG1WFC.png
Something realistic, but invoking the original appearance of the G1 version.
This is from War From Cybertron, an exclusive Optimus model for gameplay.
