You're not far off. A few months ago, grocery stores were selling single episode DVDs that included a piece of gum. ...or, for the purpose of being able to sell them in grocery stores... they were selling gum that included a single episode DVD.
A japanese dub of an American cartoon, that I already have on DVD in it's original languge? Yep, I'll pass on importing this one.
I think I will get the first set, as I have wanted season 1 in Japanese for a long time. The price is pretty good too. Not like the Beast Wars 2 set which would be around $500 to import. (I'm still hopeing to pick it up this year, but it will be tough)
