Neat. The game has potential now that it's not being constrained by a movie's plot. Setting one up should be much easier - and more fun.

Exactly. The movie universe has tons of potential, but has been constrained by the movies themselves. This could be fabulous.

I hope High Moon Studios plans to load this game up with high quality cutscenes. All of the movie games had fun intros (well, not the second one) and what came after left much to be desired.

Stealth Mode needs a new name. There's nothing stealth about having guns and what not popping out of every possible place in sight. Why not mechtech mode? Yeah, it sounds stupid, but at least it keeps true with a name Hasbro's using.

I don't know, kinda makes sense with earth modes. In WfC, all the vehicles have weapons by default.

I don't know how the other movie games did it (haven't played them), but last time I checked Camaros don't have weapons. It almost sounds like the the stealth force modes might be a compromise between a weaponless travel vehicle mode and robots.

Or maybe vehicle modes are fastest with minimal weapons, stealth force modes are more like what we were all used to in WfC with cybertronian armaments, and then you have robot mode. (That would make most sense to keep the balance between earth vehicles that do and don't naturally have weapons.)

Wow, Stealth-Force really isn't anything new. Why are they acting like it's some huge achievement?

Anyway, I'll be following this game (And possibly buying, based on reviews). It'll probably be fun.

Why isn't anyone realising the system is called 'Stealth Force' because of the Stealth Force toyline

Its not called stealth MODE, it Stealth FORCE, which means its the force / power / weaponry while in stealth form / alternate mode... Its still way more cohesive than running around in Robot Mode :D

    Remember people:

1.) Stealh FORCE, not Stealth Mode.

2.) They're acting like it's a big thing because it's much different from just having two little machine guns stick out from in front of the vehicle mode. It's like a 3rd mode with it's own type of game play. I'm guessing it'll be a combination of robot mode gameplay while your movement is purely vehicle mode based.

I hope I'm not reading into this too much, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that since High Moon is developing it, they will likely use the same gaming engine and almost identical control scheme - this third weaponized mode synchs up perfectly in terms of gameplay purposes with the WFC Cybertronian vehicle modes (which are also weaponized hover vehicles).

Last time it was Luxoflux, this time it's High Moon, which I think is extremely promising. A game with the control scheme of WFC and the aesthetics of the movieverse could really be great.

Edit: By the way, at Botcon I attended the panel with High Moon's Matt Tieger and brand supervisor Aaron Archer, and I specifically asked the question, would High Moon be given an opportunity to handle the development of the TF3 game. At the time, Tieger said nothing, but Archer seemed keen on the idea. Apparently, this has come to fruition.

Too much "Death Race" in Transformers lately. Not a fan of the poorly named stealth-modes all that much. I can accept it if some characters can do it, like it makes sense and is cool that The Wreckers would have such an ability, but for all of them to have it seems silly since they've never shown it in the past story lines.

I'll wait for this game to hit the bargain bin before checking it out. Much like the last 2 movie tie-in games it will most likely be worth a few achievements before being put aside permanently. Although with the WFC studio on it... things could be improved dramatically.
