I'm halfway through Transformers: Exodus and looking forward to another good read. Can't wait for this. :D

Sucks we're not getting a new prequel novel though.

Longer than previous books? Indicative of more plot?

Hope this will be available as an ebook... because Exodus certainly isn't, which is disappointing.

I'm interested because PAD wrote this one, but I don't want to read it before seeing the movie. I've never really understood why movie novelizations almost always come out before their respective films.

Wish we were getting a prequel novel again. The last two were decently fun reads.

Probably because people won't bother to read it once the film comes out.

Weird. I'm the other way around. If I read the book first, I inevitably compare the movie to the one I imagined, and it often diminishes my enjoyment.

So, is there a prequel novel this time around? The two previous movies have had prequel novels before the movie novel was released.

Same really, plus I like to think of the novel as a companion to the movie, adding more depth to the story. Doing it the other way around just feels like a ton of spoilers.

He's at the Far Point convention in Timmonium, MD Sat. 19 and Sun. 20. I hope to hear more on the novel. He's a good writer and I can't wait to read the book...after the movie.
