I actually kinda like that Optimus Prime design, but this line isn't for me.

Is it me or did we just go back to the Armada/Energon design days on BB? Grimlock reminds of the 1-Step Transformers line.

Well, TF line was awesome while it lasted.

If we get Cyberverse Arcee, Soundwave, and Hot Rod I'm wholeheartedly supporting this line.

I want that warrior Shockwave, he looks pretty sweet! Well, in robot mode at least, I'm not a fan of that walking tank thing excuse for an altmode he has but he can stay in his glorious looking bot mode.
Might get that Grimlock, looks like he could be pretty cool. I'll pass on the rest of them.

The line looks like garbage for the most part. Looks like the smaller size class, which Bumblebee will presumably be in comparison to Shockwave and Starscream, is severely limited in articulation, ability to hold accessories and transformation. Shockwave looks good, however. He will join my posse of Shockwave's reconnaissance Mini-Me drones.

I even kind of like that Optimus. I'm sure that vehicle will look messier in physical form and it already has a weird, bulbous futuristic design, but as it stands it seems to be a fairly decent Voyager. Props for not using a fake chest.

Shockwave is a must for me and Mabey starscream. But I want to know if optimus , Megatron and Grimlock will get warrior class figures to and windblade of course before I decide on them.

I actually really like that Optimus. And if thats supposed to be a Cybertronian alt mode, the vehicle mode isn't bad either. Megatron is is pretty good too... the others, not so much...

The simplified transformations and "Action Attack moves" remind me of the Fast Action Battlers from the movie line (Fast Action Battlers - Transformers Wiki). Out of all the figures here, only Shockwave and Grimlock really interest me. (I actually really like Grimlock's redesign.)

So is it safe to assume Ultimate = Leader or the older Ultra class, Ultra = Voyager, Warrior = Deluxe, and Scout = well, Scout?

I want to know what the scale is for the \"Warrior\" Class. Is it the same as a Deluxe, or is it bigger like a Voyager? Cuz That Shockwave interests me.

Ah yes. The usual “you can leave if you don’t like this or makeup your own stuff” statement. If I got a dollar for every time this was used by someone in almost every fan base, I swear I’d be filthy rich. I won’t be surprised if you reply with the “you’re not a real fan” card next. And I’m not sure if your “3P ALL TEH WAYZZZZ” and “Y U REPLACE MY CHUG?!?!?” statements are aimed at me or not because I’ve never said such things. I apologise for not being a big fan of a 30 year old cartoon and fawning every time it’s used as a jumping off point for another toyline.

"But if you grew up with the original toys, and were left confused and disappointed when Optimus Prime was turned into a gorilla."

    Gizmodo is definitely a geewunner.

I'm guessing by the first pic in the article we might be getting the same characters in multiple size classes. So I wouldn't say a voyager Shocky isn't that far fetched a notion to be hand.

Freaking love these. Love that buff and bulky Megs, that Superman silhouette on Prime and his rock ‘em sock ‘em fists, that angry eyed Shockwave, they all look adorable. Only one I have issues with is Bumblebee but that’s mostly because I can’t stand him as a race car, nor him being the central point of every multi media storyline, or the fact that he always has to have some sort of malfunction. Liked him better when he was a spy and looked the part, tiny, inconspicuous and fat! Lol. And please, stop making him leader already. But I get that the kids like him so that won’t change.

Also, guys, relax. These are for kids, not for Masterpiece and 3P collector snobs. There’s room for all here. And frankly for what they are and who they’re for these are pretty freaking awesome.

Funny how they’ve reverted back to the old four-class system. They’ve struck a good balance, it seems, between simplicity and good looking toys at a variety of sizes (I love how we have Scout and Warrior together, why they didn’t change Deluxe to warrior ages ago to fit in with the Scout/Voyager/Leader paradigm). One steps are fun, but after four years, they’ve had their time. Unlike Generations, though, I think they’ll do each character in two or three sizes, like they’ve previously done with RID.

I do wonder, though, whether having the very similar evergreen designs in toy form at the same time will lead to some confusion, at least with parents and other adults buying them for kids.

Still, looks like excitng stuff is on its way.

My guess: Ultra Starscream, Scout Megatron, Ultmate Optimus just with his gimmick, Warrior Bumblebee.
