    Hi!

Today at Toronto TransformersCon I found a copy of a trade paperback by IDW, featuring a collection of stories from the 2005 and 2006 Collectors' Club Magazine - titled Balancing Act. (You can find a blurb on it at this page.)

I won't give too much away from the story itself, but basically it's set on Cybertron after the large-scale evacuation shown in the beginning of the animated series, and goes on to draw in some old hands from other of Dan Khanna's projects, such as the Wreckers series and TF: Universe.

If you manage to get a hold of the TPB, I'd highly recommend it - the artwork is of a consistently high quality (with some great images scattered here and there), the story flows well and is well suited for fans of 'Worlds Collide'-type arcs...

...and there's a great cameo on the very last page!

    Highly recommended.

I flipped through that issue and it looked like a fun read, just like that pre-Beast Wars comic that came out last year. The art was really nice and the cameo on the last page that you mentioned was pretty awesome!

I passed because I had nearly $30 worth of comics in my hands already. I look forward to picking it up next time though.

Saw this today at one of my local shops but I picked up the first Evolution issues instead.....The big Heroes convention is coming up on June 15-17 so I will rack up there. I might get it then.

I have all the comics in their origina newsletter form, but I still picked this up. Partially because I can never remember where I put the newsletters, but also because it flows really well in one big volume. And hey, it was only $10.

The sheer amount of fan-wank in this TPB is enough to make your head explode. Even still, that just makes the story even more awesome. Its really a great read, and makes me hope we'll get to the next volume of club comics released in trade format like this.

i just read it last night too, and thought it was really cool....major cameos from all different TF series, and it was just a good story too...cant wait to read more....though, for those in the club, ive got a question....has the club comic continued to tie in to the end of this story? i just joined, which means im gonna start with part 3 of the newest club comic, so did i already miss stuff? if so, i may need to go back and buy the past club comics so i know whats going on, cuz another trade could take another year to come out....and i cant wait that long....

i wasnt aware of this tpb so was elated to find it at my shop.

to be honest its a bit messy but great art and the inclusion of never or rarely used characters make this great. also, the continuation of plot points from previous series, both cartoon and comic was neat too.

Crossing Over Part 1 (Club magazine issue 13) starts exactly where the trade ends.

April's issue was 14 and this is the off month. (Meaning your first newsletter will be #15 in June.)

I'm surprised there isn't more interest in this trade - it's the only in-print Cybertron comic, after all (and a damned fine one, to boot!)

    Where's the love?

Right here! that was a GREAT read, i loved it. it was also cool that it really felt longer than most trades, or maybe it's because it was my first read of the material. Go get it.
