Ever wondered who voiced the Cyber Missons? or Who is behind the animations? Well, Have no fear... The answers can be found here : TRANSFORMERS | Cyber Missions Credits on Vimeo

Also, You will notice that at the end credits, there is a hint of a possible DVD release.

Note that the credits list-down the characters that will appear in the upcoming episodes :
Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Smolder, Chopster, Barricade, Bludgeon, Frenzy, Ironhide, Lockdown, Mindwipe, Ratchet, Sideswipe, Soundwave, Starscream.

And yes, People are right about the fact that a single person is voicing Bludgeon, Lockdown and Mindwipe.

What do you think of all this?

    :)

Why buy a DVD when you can watch them on Hasbro's site? They suck ayway IMO, so I don't care.

The quality isn't good enough for DVD, to be honest. I understand that they are crappy because they're low budget website cartoons, but DVD, seriously?

Interesting that Smolder and Chopster are going to make an appearance; does that make them part of the Movie-verse?

I've liked them, if only to see the toy-only characters get some characterization. The credits listing Smolder and Chopster seems to finally confirm where the Power Core Combiners lie continuity wise.

Something I noticed (or missed) about the credits - they don't list anybody or any entity involved with the movies, even though they're using Movie designs/characters and concepts. Just credits that everything belongs to Hasbro.

    Hmm.

    That's because they do.

Optimus, Sideswipe, etc. are all long-time Hasbro-owned trademarks. And since everything's technically meant to represent the toys, not the movie models, those would (I assume) go under Hasbro as well.

I don't get what the "Hmm." is for.

EDIT: For example, Optimus is the Leader figure, Barricade is HA, Megatron has the "stealth" armour that obviously references Shadow Command, etc.

The only good part of that whole thing was the end credits. They looked cool. But with the way
they transform.... Unless it's a $5 DVD or a DVD in a pack of 2 transformers.... Better luck next ime then.

I'm just wondering because I don't understand the complex legal nature of the movie characters. Obviously "Optimus Prime" and so on are Hasbro's characters and trademarks, but the movie versions are joint owned. Michael Bay gets 8% of all movie toy sales because he part owns these movies, and thus, the movie versions of these characters.

Just wondering where it stops and these movie characters can be used it whatever capacity Hasbro feels like. If this is true, it would please me.

yeah, that's very interesting... maybe they're only jointly owned if in live action films?

That would be so SWEET if they put the Cyber Missions onto DVD. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

I'm sure the DVD would just be something packed in with a figure box set, like that Classics Prime vs Megatron set. No way are they doing enough of these to justify a full DVD release.
