Well no I see the comparison but I don’t know what you’re comparing.
I don't think it's intentional. With heavy doors like that you've gotta put your back into it.
Prime might be a robot, but it still looks dramatic.
Oh it’s lord of the rings. I only got midway through the second book.
...it's more of an iconic cinematography thing than a book thing...
Oh, I am okay with allegory.

Yay more covers.
...so when's this comic going to debut?..i wouldn't mind picking up the new continuity as individual issues off the rack...
Issues 1 and 2 come out in March.
Jesus, that's terrible.
It really feels like all media for this franchise is stagnating, doesn't it? Zero variety. If it weren't for the fact that Siege is such an excellent toyline, I'd be really, really dissapointed.
I am going to give this new run of comics a chance, good writing could definitely save it, but the Bumblebee focused setup is not inspiring a ton of hope.
I hope we start seeing things for the other IDW Hasbro comic series.
If this is just a more fleshed-out, "adult" version of Cyberverse... I'm actually okay with that. I quite enjoyed Cyberverse. It's clear that it's targeted to younger kids but the backstory it sets up is quite fertile. And again, there was no getting around the "devolution of society in to civil war" that's at the heart of the Bot/Con conflict... but flipping prewar Cybertron from a crapsack world into an ACTUAL utopia / galactic center of trade and culture changes the dynamics of EVERYTHING else. (even "utopia with a dark underbelly" is WAY different from "fascist dystopia" that the previous IDW-verse's conflict emerged from... I mean, as seen in Lost Light, things would have been even WORSE without Megatron)
I hope the old Primes are good guys and not what we had in the old IDW universe.
Oooo. I really want a cybertronian Bee from Siege. With this book being Siege design based, this gives me hope. However the model looks too 'perfect' to be toy representive.
I wonder if that Bumblebee is any indication of a BB toy in part 2 of WFC toy line? In the art however, I dont see anything distinctively toy-like if you know what I mean.
Why do we keep seeing a slavishly G1 Bumblebee next to the updated Seige designs? Feels really incongruous.
i was with you.
