So slag is now snarl? Nothing is going to keep me from calling him slag but why couldn't they call him triceradon or knockdown?
I'm gona be kinda ticked though if they do make a homage to snarl in universe and call him striker.

Can't wait to see a Swoop fig. Also can't wait for more screen time for all these characters.

if slag isn't to be in this line...

Dinobots are awesome, my favorite characters so far. I think it's great that they clarify Grimlock's strength, it wasnt clear in the cartoon (but stronger than Megatron would have been even better). I'm looking forward to seeing Grimlock take Megatron on single handed. :)

To be honest it looks like a recoloured BM Silverbolt.

As for the Slag/Snarl matter I assure you it's nothing to do with it being a BW curse word issue. I mean grow up guys! Do you really think that would cause Hasbro to rename a toy? I tell you what would though, and that's the fact that no parent in the UK is gonna buy their kid a toy called Slag. This is an international franchise, and Hasbro want to sell toys!

Heh, I think of all the humore potential if the 3 horned Dinobot's name WAS an explitive.

    "What's your name solider?"

    "$@^*!"

But as for Grimlock needing to be Autobot Grimlock, didn't they JUST release the Alternator version in the last 3 years? And the impossible to find and apparently not worth the trouble Cybertron Grimlock?

I don't think there was a cybertron Grimlock,
there was an Energon one though.

But the most recent would probably be Classics Grimlock.
Which I think was released a little over a year ago.

Also in the last episode Lugnut said "...slag" clearly showing that they do plan to use the word slag as some kind of curse word in the series... AND it would be kind of weird to see somebody saying "Oh SLAG!" when "Slag" isn't around.

The toy wouldn't have to. Neither Grimlock or Snarl store their weapons in their dino or bot modes. Same thing with Ratchet and his extra tools, and Blackaracnhia and her grapnel hook.

Grimlock and Slag can use their Weapons as flamethrowers(swoop might do this too).

Ratchet can probably store his tools in his caboose.
And it looks like BA's grapnel stores under he abdomen.

And let's not forget Classics Grimlock that was released in 2006! I don't see how they can lose a name like Grimlock which has been used by Hasbro consistently over the years. But, anyway.

I like the bios and I like the robot designs of all three. I can live with Slag being Snarl now, especially since Slag/Snarl's robot mode is more of a homage to G1 Snarl with the split tail in the back and all. It'll still take some getting used to, though.

Anyone know if the Dinobot toys will be out on June 22nd with the other Animated ones or not? I'm not holding my breath.

Did Robot Heroes have Autobot Grimlock? I think that was more recent than Classics Grimlock. Like within the past six months, huh?

Nope. The only figures in the first wave are-

    Deluxe:
    -Cybertronian Optimus Prime
    -Prowl
    -Bumblebee
    -Lockdown

    Voyager:
    -Bulkhead
    -Megatron
    -Starscream

And also the 2-pack that has the Deluxe versions of Earth-mode Optimus Prime and Cybertronian Megatron.

Eh...The weapons-as-flamethrowers gimmick hasn't been confirmed yet, though it is likely that's something they can do. I personally don't count that as storing their weapons. Ratchet can hold his tools in his caboose, but they look kinda akward like that, so I'm most likely going to have them sitting next to him on the shelf. As for Blackarachnia, her grapnel hook might go there, but we haven't seen any pictures of that, though we have seen pictures of her bot-mode with it hanging on her back.

    Snarl/Slag...

Man.... this is definitely a question that needs to be asked at Botcon.
