It still defaults to the UK site though, I wish they'd fix that.
Actual US page looks nice though, what I could see of it at any rate.

    SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL HASBRO BRANCH

Yeah, I keep getting redirected to the incomplete, outdated, rarely ever updated German Hasbro site too.

it irritates me, its almost like hasbro usa snubs everyone else and forces us to use the hardly updated wank hasbro locals sites

From what I can see without me being redirected back to the UK site, it looks pretty good!

More like your local Hasbro branches want KIDS to use THEIR sites rather than the ENGLISH LANGUAGE US site (plus seeing what toys they're missing out on).

Is there actually a specific US page - the website goes to the GB one when you select US as an option - and if you manually type in "..../en_US/" in the address bar - there is no page.

No matter what country I select - the pages look pretty much the same - only the language changes (the front page at least).

The "Transformers Products" pages are different - australia, belgium etc all seem to have an outdated page - whereas the GB one (which is also linked to when you select US) seems to have been updated somewhat and appears to have the latest gear.

Regional hard-redirects are the devil. Seriously, they are Satan incarnate...this reminds me of the whole farrago of Rotten Tomatoes and last year's enforced European redirect to the appalling RT-UK site.

Does anyone know the IP address of the Hasbro US site? That's how I access the RT US site from the UK, at least...

Hasbro, for the love of God, please stop pretending you care about us foriegners by giving us a token local webpage and then not bother to update it.

At least give us the choice in the ability to visit the US Hasbro sites.

I think the rest of you have suitably expressed my annoyance on this matter...

The problem is actually in the redirect software - the master domain is the US site, which is set to auto-redirect to one of the regional ones. Ironically it is possible to view every other regional website perfectly fine - it's just the US one that is inaccessible.

Pity too because I want to get into the instruction archive sometime.

Why is Megatron still shadowed in the Bios section?
I don't think his earth mode is exactly a secret anymore, or ever.

Also getting some more characters in there (like the Elite Guard) would be cool.

thank goodness. i was really sick of that dumb blowing up thing! and this new version of the site seems more easily navigated. also, the universe arena with the toys animated transforming is pretty neato. i wish they did that with more of them, but i bet that was a lot of work just for the ones they did...

I guess there are advantages if you don't have a local Hasbro branch ... I can get to the U.S. site no problem. :D
