Ruination aims the tank turret at the head of railracer Chrome dome enters through and sees the explosion, he pulls out his rifles and fires at the samurai. Optimus turns to Blaster "Open contact with the base on Earth, dont want to be attacked right away."
"Roger that," Blaster replied. He swiveled around in his co-pilot's chair and began inputting commands on the surrounding control panels. He opened up a secure connection to the Earth base. "Autobots, do you read? This is comm officer Blaster reporting live from the cold beyond! We're en route to help y'all out - anybody read?"
Ginrai turned to the com console. "Ginrai here. I hope you're ready for a fight, we're getting hit hard down here."
Railracer grabs Ruination's ankles and pulls them toward him, then bites at the bottom of Ruination's tank arm. Bludgeon quickly draws one of his swords and deflects the blasts. Skyfire rockets down from the upper atmosphere and divebombs the Autobots with his missiles before flying back into the sky.
Ruination rotates the rotor blades on his shin to release the grasp as he swings a head punch to the head of Rail Racer. Chromedome jumps out of the way.
"Hey, when you get hit hard, hit back harder! Guide us on down and we'll help ya shake up the dance floor."
"I've got a combiner in Shanghai, and more Cons tearing up Paris. I doubt they're stopping there, so we need bots here at the base waiting by the Groundbridge."
The head blow fails to slow Railracer down at all, but the rotors do cause him to briefly release his grasp on Ruination's knee, before Railracer punches at the rotors repeatedly. Bludgeon slowly walks toward Chromedome as a wave briefly passes over his body, causing him to fade from view. There is no sound, no footstep, no disruption of the dust on the ground, or any sign at all that indicates his current direction.
The moment that he was released Ruination fired from his back cannons while the rotor spins almost like a shield Scrap... Chromedome thinks as his places himself in an open area and he puts extra power into his audio receptors, waiting for anything that could tip him off.
"Roger, Dodger - we'll be down in a jiff. Over and outta here." Blaster turned to Prime. "We're wanted at base, but it sounds like things are gettin' dicey pretty much all over the planet. Think we brought too much backup?"
Optimus thinks for a moment, then he turns on the comm "Autobots, I need everyone in the cockpit now."
Railracer ducks and jams his head into Ruination's abdomen as he continues to punch at the rotors, still holding Ruination's other knee. Those audio receptors would probably be hurting as Skyfire roars down to Earth, firing missiles at Heatwave and Longarm before transforming and throwing a punch at Chromedome.
Washington, DC Thousands of commuters were puzzled when they heard that every single train into the District had been delayed. The dispatchers weren't sure what was happening, either, since they certainly hadn't been informed of any interruptions. All of a sudden, the entire "christmas tree" had gone red- every single junction marked as occupied. Until they could sort out the glitch, no one was going anywhere. This left the rails of the Northeast Corridor completely vacant, save for one lonesome diesel, hauling a train of container cars. It hurtled towards the capital city far above the speed limit, clouds of black exhaust trailing in its wake. The locomotive decoupled from the train and growled onward into Union Station, where it screeched to a halt and metamorphosed into to broad-shouldered, bipedal form of Hotbox. The Decepticon vaulted up onto the platform, and hundreds of civilians fled in panic. "Well, that's gonna attract some attention," he mused, taking a moment to admire the elegant and comfortably-sized architecture. He turned his attention to the communicator on his wrist. "This is Hotbox to all Decepticons in the area. I've got the materiel."
Sakha Republic, Siberia With a grunt, the Vehicon hefted a drill into place. The machine grumbled to life and began to eat away at the stone. Nearby, another Vehicon repeated the process, and another a few meters further. The bottom of the mine was lined with drills and Vehicons, industriously scouring away at the lifeless stone. The snow kept the dust down, which made it very easy to see. Recoil lowered her binoculars and clipped them back onto her belt. She slung the sniper rifle from off her shoulder and planted its bipod in the snow. She blinked and freed her optics from a thin layer of snow as she leaned into the scope. The crosshairs floated over the nearest Vehicon's cranium. He had strayed far from his friends, loitering at the entrance to the mine. The smooth, rubberized surface of the trigger below her finger begged her to pull, to watch the bits of processor explode out in a shower of fluids and scrap. But she couldn't. There were rules, after all. She had to call first. "Recoil to command. I've discovered a Decepticon mining operation. Orders?"
Ginrai thought for a moment, then answered. "Think you can make some noise? Draw their attention away from the fight?"
