Sparked from a thread in the News forum, this poll simply asks you a question and you answer it. It's not meant to start debates about FP and how they run the show. Just answer the question and be done.

    I'm curious.

While I applaud the intentions behind this poll (and voted), I can already see the response, if any, we get from FP.

"There is simply no other way to do things than the way we do them now. We've looked at every conceivable option, and ours is the best."

    What's that?

    Oops. :D

Nope. I keep the TF part, but I never bother with the rest of the magazine. And I could very easily live without the non-club issues.

Who needs an elitist Collector's Club magazine and ANOTHER repainted toy? :p

Considering what it's costing us as members, I say no. The money sould be put to better use like giving us the remolding they promised for the last four gestault figures on the next three and maybe cook up that store exclusive that they've been talking about.

The only possible use it has is that it effectively operates as packaging for the fan club magazine. But yeah, and envelope would do that just as well, and then I wouldn't have to pay international shipping for an empty envelope every other month either.

The MC would be more usefull if people would list specific items they have for sale or want to buy instead of "I have Transformers for sale" or "I want to buy Transformers". There are a couple of things that I can never find on Ebay, and if someone listed them in the MC I would probably contact them.

I used the classifieds a few times and got nothing out of it. Other than looking for my own ad it went straight to the trash. The only thing I looked at was the TF inserts.

The first couple of issues I read for humor value, because there are some real numbskulls in there.

"Looking for sealed C10 Fort Max. Have Star Wars Episode 1 toys to trade."

But even the fun of that wore off after a couple of issues. Now it goes straight into the trash once I remove the club newsletter.

Definitely not a necessity, it's a nice to have just in case type of thing.

The TF specific insert that comes every other month is the only part of it that I find useful.

No, in fact I usually throw it out after taking out the comic.

That is, if I actually get the issue delivered.

I'm not renewing my subscription. Everything ends up online and for $40.00 I can find something better for that price.

As others have said, all the MC newsprint thing does for me is remind me of my renewal date, and serve as a makeshift envelope for the TFCC insert.

I have -absolutely- no use for something like that when I have access to the net. :/

The non-TF issues go in the trash, and I got the second year's worth of subscription as a gift. I'm not so sure as it is right now if I'd re-up if I were paying for it though.

So it seems either most don't care or they just throw it out. Interesting. So why are we forced to have it?
