Cannot believe I have not attempted an Ultra Magnus custom yet !!! Basically a straight repaint, plus I removed the action feature, and also tightened the joint of the waist... Enjoy !!! ^__^

I've work with this mold before and really like your take on this. The shading is very well done especially on the head/face.
Nice shot with the sword too.

Great work. Although, I'm a little worried about one thing. How did you solve the unpaintable plastic problem? I read that, if you paint this figure's arms, the paint will rub right off.

The paint in the elbows zone chips off pretty easy...I am interested as well in a solution.

BTW: neat work. I am curious: why it cannot transform ? And how did you deactivated the "action punch" gimmik ?

Thanks for the comments guys !!!

Much sanding is required to remove paint rubs, but most of the time it's to minimize the areas that rub against each other...

I remove all the action gimmick parts, as the waist becomes super loose after that I insert nicely folded paper to tighten it... You can use styrene too...

The transformation at the waist portion is pretty jacked lol, I removed it so my clients don't accidentally rub off all the paint at that area during transformations... :)
