Hounds technically part of the 25th Anniversary line (but is basically classics) and there will be a Cyclonus/Nightstick, Cheetor and Armada Hot Shot w/ Jolt.

I'm in your position. I didn't realize that Universe 1.0 had even come until it was gone. I only got online and started browsing TF websites to figure out why I hadn't seen landmine and wreckage in the movie and why they were toys. Confused monkey.

Lucky for me I'd been planning on blowing a wad of cash this summer to treat myself anyway. And have been doing so the last week.

I pretty much got all the classics 1.0 I personally wanted and did it (relatively) cheaply. I still haven't decided on Mirage. But I'm not big on MOSC/MISB and honestly don't really need the card or box. Just having the tech specs/bios printed off is good enough for me.

I was able to get all the classics I wanted for only a little more than it would have got me to buy them retail back in the day (where they would've promptly been opened anyway). Getting UM/skywarp and Optimus cheap will be the most difficult from my experience.

Basically, my take, having just gone through the experience (and being a tightwad--but a toy collector too) is that if you want the card and box (sealed or not), you might as well go Henkei. Same price, better paint/deco. If previously-collector-owned 100% complete loose toys are good enough and you don't want to pay a premium for the higher henkei quality, then go ebay/hasbro. At least for now, it's a relatively cheap route.

And a final word of caution. The classics UMs are disappearing before my very eyes, likely because of the fansproject City Commander (which is actually how I ended up hooked on classics)

ARGH! I hate you! That's the 80th time I've seen that mentioned on the boards in the past week. And I haven't even been looking specifically about that! 20 more bucks down the drain. This is seriously not cool.

lol he's SO worth it. he seriously set the bar high as can be when it comes to poseability. look at my gallery that I shot of the clear and normal ones.

I admit that these are honestly tame too, as he can do hand-stands and such.

    Ebay:
If you want the Mirage mold, Fracture (Wal mart exclusive) is coming out (a homage to Gobot Crasher) and will retail for 9.99.

The Ravage that came with Hound for the universe line is a new mold and is a "cassette". It looks like a big tool box that can attach to the back of Hound's alt mode.

This link is good for some info. It's a little outdated now, but still good.

As far as hard to get, the UM and SW two pack are the hard to get under $50, and the Wal-Mart devastator set can go up to $80 MISB. Starscream and Bumblebee usually go for $20-35 MOSC. Other deluxes can go $15-$25. Henkei deluxes are about $27 w/o shipping.

The universe line is re-using the starscream and Jetfire mold, so add that to the Mirage mold and you can get those for retail. Prime has been recolored so many times as an exclusive, you should be able to get one of the seven paint decos. Very unlikely that megs will be remolded so go for the henkei one if you've got $45 to spare.

I also have some Classics for sale on my sales thread in my sig.

Good luck, the Classics line is the best ever.

Rereleasing Classics 1.0 most likely wont happen. Your Best Bet is Ebay or the Junkion. You Gotta Get Em All. They are a Fantastic reincarnation of the G1 Time Line. shadow panther listed everything that is out for 1.0 so just go by that list.
Here are some main question I have:

When did they actually come out? (1.0 series) = 06-07

Are there only the 3 Voyeger Classes Jetfire, Optimus, and Megatron? = Yes and also Magnus

Which one is going to cost me the most (hardest of the regualer line to find)? = Ebay will answer that question.

Is the Walmart Constucticons Sets a Ledgends Set or bigger like Delux? = Delux

Will they re-release the 1.0s with the 2.0 Waves...? = Most Likely Not.

Again any info would be greatly appreciated.

Might be old news to some, just realised after checking out the feedbacks of the new 2.0.
It seem like they no longer come with rubsigns, which I thought was a pretty cool throwback. Come on, how much can a sticker save them?

The Classics line is what got me back into Transformers and I highly recommend them. I really like the seeker mold for Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker, and the upcoming Acid Storm. Mirage is a must buy as is Jetfire (seriously that mold is awesome too). Of course Optimus is really amazing....ah who am I kidding? GET THEM ALL! :)
