I'm looking at starting a transformers chatroom on IRC (EFNet to be exact)
I first joined #transformers yesterday but one of the ops has been acting like a real baby and he owns a number of transformers channels on EFNet, (#autobots, #decepticons, #gobots, and #tfw2005 to name a few--seems to be squatting to make sure his chan is the one transformers channel in town), so I wanted to just start my own, if I can find a name that he hasn't squatted.

Any other Transfans on EFNet?

I just entered #bigbot and that seems to be free.

 

this thread takes me back to the old days on DALNET or was it EFNET, #cybertron back in 2000.

 

Last time I was obsessed with IRC was in 92, damn that takes me back.

I could create one if anyone wants one that is not squatted upon by that one jerk that everyone is griping about. I had been looking for a channel anyways to hang out in. The server is on Dalnet and the channel is #Cybertron, I just registered, anyone who wishes to hop on here, if that troublesome user tries squatting, point him out and I will ban him whenever I am online.
