    I only have 1 case that came with the Encore Soundwave & Lazerbeak

    I don't think they came with the knockoff sets, did they?

    You can purchase micro-cassettes from most office supply chains (Staples, Office Max, etc.). Just throw away the tape and use the case.

    You can usually negotiate a better price when you buy them by the buttload instead of individually too:thumb

    I've had that idea as well...except it didn't work. The little spikes in the real microcassette cases were too large to fit through the Transformer microcassette holes. :( 

    I'm going to see if I can find a workaround...I'll post an update when I get a response.

    i have three of these that i would sell for $12 shipped...they even say takara on them...

    I believe that there are brands without the spokes. I don't recall who made them and couldn't tell you if they still do, but I had a couple that I used to keep loose change in.

    I saw some of those tapes at a dollar store 2 years ago, haven't seen them since then though.

    Anyone else have a place online to purchase more tape protectors, or any ideas?

    cheapes i have found, (and i would be willing to shave off the fins) located here

    Shaving off the spokes is probably the way to go, just take care that the ends are smooth so they don't scratch the TF's.

    Pretty much, all the TF tapes will fit in the cases length, depth, and width wise. The spokes are the only problem.
