The less G1 the better for the movie line.

 

Yay, more Bumblebee and Optimus Toys!!! (Sarcasm)  

 

That’s because it is. Apparently asking Hasbro to acknowledge and show some love to other parts of this franchise that aren’t G1 is a big no no. Never mind the fact that every toyline we’ve gotten since Fall of Cybertron, with the exception of AOE and TLK, has essentially been G1 themed. Hasbro gave us a very small taste of other parts of the franchise via Armada Starscream and several Beast Wars figures duringng the Thrilling 30 line but that was about it. I’m sorry but it would be fantastic if Hasbro would give us figures from other continuities of this franchise rather than giving us figures that are themed from a 34 year old cartoon.

 

So another character for the bumblebee movie or just a new character codenamed hornet ?

 

Could Hornet be a codename for Stinger?

 

doubt that since stinger was a manmade transformers and only rivaled bumblebee because the designers said bumblebee was old and ugly

 

So? That wouldn’t stop them from making more toys of him.

 

The biggest thing that throws me is the number next to it and what does it mean ?

Hornet 2 does that mean there is or was a Hornet 1 ?

 

So like he survived and gets another figure with a new body. I doubt it if stinger would have codenamed hornet we would have heard about out before now.

 

This needs to be Barricade....complete with a holographic Beuford T Justice  

 

Wait, I thought Stryker and Radar were codenames for Bumblebee and Optimus, so why are they still being used when they name Bee and Prime in the same product lineup?

 

It would stop the movie makers from using him since he didn't exist in 1986, the year this movie takes place.

 

That is weird, isn't it?

Also, thinking about who "Hornet" could be, could it possibly be Wasp?!

 

My heart hopes so. But my gut tells me it'll probably end up being another Bumblebee. And my mind is torn between the two.

 

It probably is very unlikely to be Wasp, but then I think about the completely different crew behind this movie and think "Weeeelll...". I do that with a lot of unlikely theories for this movie. Would Wasp have a copy of Bumblebee's body type or a new body all unto himself, though?

 

These using \"Codenames\", I find it SILLY.
