    hi,
I have nearly completed my transformers pretender meelee weapons they include:

    Styrene sword for bludgeon
    Styrene trident for Octopunch
Lego chain + animated swoop mace for stranglehold

Any comments or suggestions for improvement would be helpfull. I actually rather enjoyed making them. I only wish my Bludgeon had a helmet so he looked a little better in the photo.

I can't really decide on whether or not to paint to octopunch's trident It does look really decent in that pose.

These are great. That trident for Octopunch is very well done. I know I'd like a set of these for mine!

My biggest problems with this set is.
Finding animated swoop mace for less than £15. It is actually a very hard piece to find but does work perfectly for stranglehold.

Painting was also a big issue, the paint will rubb a bit but i can't find a way to prevent. I did attempt a satin finish but it failed due to paint not drying. Also the paint job for the mace was hard to get right at first.

My second one i did got "melted" in my painta clean solution so i had to start again. I thought it was strange as all this greeny stuff started coming off it. Most bizzare, I might use grey spray paint for the mace + orange piece. Does spray paint stick better than normal paint?
