News Post: Transformers Authentics Figures Listed On Hasbro Toy Shop
$5? Doesn't sound bad.
Mmmmmm I wonder if there will be an Authentic KO?
Yes, these look like $5. (No judgment behind this statement.)
The only one who looks good enough to justify even this very cheap price of 5 dollars is Megatron. Starscream's robot mode is pretty good too, but his jet mode is totally terrible.
I really like Evergreen design and I really hope that Cyberverse will bring us at least nurid-level toys, preferably with return of Voyager class.
Megatron and Starscream look great!
But now Optimus has knees, and no elbows? And that Bumblebee, seriously. I have no words.
Little kids aren't total idiots, Hasbro. They want basic, and if you're to afraid to do that, at least relevant articulation. Knees but no elbows? I really am a bit surprised here.
Anyway, 5 bucks seems fair.
Not available to buy.
Dammit, I have been waiting for Megatron and Starscream. Don't give one little damn if they are 'cheap', as I love the designs.
When you need to use the name "Authentics" after your brand because there's barely a difference between them and dollar store KOs.
Megs might be a worthy add to a Legends class display. He has the right stature to be a head above.
(though l am sticking with my Dx-9)
You've never handled a Dollar store toy before, have you?
Wouldn't be smarter to take the awesome titanmaster mold and made some sort of actionmaster/Mighty Max toyline and sell small vehicles and playsets and so you get good quailty toys and high play value for quite cheap price then making suckish knockoff like legends scale toys?!
That is what they did during Titans Return
Not really...I'm talking about pure/smaller and simpler transforming vehicles and playsets like the old Actionmaster line or even make playset box in different shapes like *good ol' Mighty Max.
*Curse you Mattel!
I dunno why, but I thought these were going to be deluxe-sized but simpler. These are fine I suppose, better than tiny Prime Masters size for sure, that size never made sense as a kid-appeal line back in the day. I wonder how far this line will end up going.
Way to go Hasbro, you made $4.99 look expensive.
I have. And I've seen the bargain bin stuff at Family Dollar, and Five Below, Amazing Savings, and Big Lots. They're better quality in some ways than the "Authentics." Shit, I'm pretty sure I have some knock off's from the 90's and early 2000's made of better quality stuff and probably look better than these things.
I mean, shit, Optimus is like JaAm 2.0, and Bumblebee is like Hot Shot Part Deux, the legacy of the locked legs. These things just blow.
$5? I rather spend that on a Stacker box at Taco Bell.
4-5 inches and $5?
Seems like Legends/Cyberverse figures to me.
That just sounds like hyperbole at this point.
