The price is the same? If it is then 5 figures for the price of 4 is great.

    Are those things worth buying?

Honestly. It's not like I have anyone to play this thing with...just wondering what the opinion is on these things because I see them all the damned time. But its not like I could play that game with them or anything.

It's a Walmart exclusive - my Walmart had an entire endcap of them and it sold out within a week or two. I think the line is doing well, the two-packs seem to be sold out most of the time. Of course, I've bought 75 of the two-packs, so I'm certainly doing my part. :lol

I'm not interested in the game, personally - but I do like the figs.

If anything, I would buy those to paint them like I would Ral Partha miniatures. I probably wouldn't play the game anyway.

My one biggest Botcon regret is not buying heaps of these while I was there. :(

I mostly want 'em to have around as a boozing game. Attacktix would transcend with enough inebriation behind it.

They sell those at my usual grocery store... dust collectors. Personally they dont interest me, like all-plastic Titanium figures with missiles. If they expanded farther than just the Armadaverse then possibly.

Based on Botcon pics of the Hasbro display, it looks like some G1 characters will be part of the line as well.

Yeah, I wouldnt mind that G1 Megs they showed.

Also, these things arent bad, I've only ever bought 1 booster pack, and got Super Mode Prime (robot) and Decepticlone, they are great fun to fiddle with, (Decepticlones missile shoots a good 3 metres before falling!), If it wasnt for the retarded price Hasbro loves to shove on Transformers over here, I'd already have most of 'em.

    £5 = $9.35 - Bad Price
    $5 = £2.67 - Good price.

I saw plenty of these at Wal-Mart the other day. I'm tempted to start collecting, but I'm still undecided as everything I already buy is expensive enough.

I'm in the same boat as you -- no one with whom to play. But I've bought some of them, and like them. (The first ever Decepticlone figure was a big draw.) SCF/HoC-ish figures + artistic license on proportions + insanely powerful missile launchers = a win in my book. :thumb

However, I HATE the blind pack shenanigans. Vector Prime is supposed to be "super rare", but I've gotten him 3 times in 7 Booster Packs. I want Landmine, Scorponok, and Excellion, dammit! :cry

Like I said in a thread ages ago, I'd rather just modify the rules to use the actual figures.

Yeah our Store had them for a while, but never wanted to get into them otherwise I'd be stuck with another addiction. :(
