Not a fan of the Unicron trilogy...

Particularly hated it because of the stupid anime style (and of course Minicons..ugh).

The ending wasn't as shitty as the start. The last few episodes were pretty good with good animation.

Frankly, I did not like Armada, I'm with Generation 1, but some say Starscream in Armada was totally cool!

I tried to watch it. I bet I would have liked, if not for those meddling kids.

I haven't seen a TF series I really like, since G1 season two.

I loved them all from G1 - Cybertron. But the new animated series is making me sick. :puke:

    North American.

And Beast Wars/machines was better than A/E/C & the new animated show for one reason.

    No Humans.

Beast Wars (not Machines, BM can go die in a fire ^_^) was better than AEC for the sole fact that BW was pure awesome (not having annoying kids helped too though).

I just pray that stupid girl THING in animated doesn't play a large enough role to ruin Animated.

She probably will. If so... I hope they return the anime-formers with better dubs and a better concept.

Armada is my favorite TF series.

Because it got me back into TFs after that Beast Wars crap.

Armada wasn't especially good. But at least it was better than the steaming pile that was Energon.

Armada is a guilty pleasure of mine. On one hand, its a pretty bad dub with otherwise talented actors, and the American version of Armada had somewhat rougher, unfinished animation compared to what the Japanese eventually got. And of course the kids are exceptionally irritating for the most part. Especially Carlos, and this is coming from somebody who generally does not mind humans in TF at all.

On the other hand, when Armada's animation was good, it was VERY good, and until TF Animated, was some of the finest Transformers 2D television animation. Sure, it wasn't consistant at all, and tended to go from an extreme of great animation to appalling animation, sometimes within the same episode!

Character wise, the Autobots were almost totally forgettable, with the Decepticons stealing the show, in particular the complex, conflicted anti-hero Starscream. He's your emo Dinobot that the fangirls *LOVE*. Then there's Megatron - he was nowhere near as smart of BW Megs, but it helped that David Kaye played him and he had some great scenes, such as this exchange in my favourite episode, 23, Rebellion:

Then there's Sideways. Enigmatic. Manipulative. Back in the day when 2005 did play by play Armada episode recaps, people were *shocked* at what happened when he was found out and sliced to bits by Megatron.
