Opps! Just notice that. See what happens when you only half read a post.

    - This has been a public service announcement to all board members. If this had been a real post I would feel pretty stupid right now

About time, now I can finally see what happens with the rest of the series. Now if only Energon, and especially Cybertron would come out on DVD.

Isn't the release date around the same week as Botcon? Coincidence? Marketing (Seeing that the date is also on the back of the latest Master Collector too?).

Bah.....to the pit with this shifting release date, I'll just wait for TV-Nihon to release the subtitled version - better product that way anyway! :rock

What, so you'd get even more stilted dialogue? No offense to TV-Nihon, but I think translated dialogue from Micron Densetsu would sound even more stilted than Armada's dub dialogue. Especially if they use japanese terms in the middle of english text.

Animation would be better, though. Mildly.

Besides, you'd be missing out on some of David Kaye's best TF acting since BM (despite it being a dub) in ep 23 'Rebellion':

    That's brilliant that is.

I completely agree with Fit. I watched the entire Cybertron/GF series with TVnihon, and while I appreciate their great efforts, and their timely releases, It was very difficult accepting Vector Prime and other serious characters using the terms, "You Guys" as well as some other direct translations, that although directly translated, did not convery the same meaning in English. So yeah, give me the dubs any day. In the end, the shows will suck, or not suck no matter who's saying what, but Kay and Chalk's voice will win in the end just because their performance is better than some guy yelling in a language that I don't understand. And in Cybertron's case, the translation and performance was better than the sub.

GF Bud really shit me up the wall with his voice actress' annoying performance and shrieking voice. Particularly in the episode where Vector Prime dies. Cyb Bud was handled far better, seemed like a real kid than a shrieking midget lady.

Another issue would be the fact our subbing friends, despite their great efforts aren't (to my knowledge) professional writers. Its harder to convey the drama and emotions of a scene if you are translating it from one language to another, even if you clean it up afterwards, but are not writers by trade.
